The HAL KB2100 keyboard is part of the HAL CT-2100 Communications Terminal which is an automatic radioteletype terminal for sending and decoding radioteletype messages also known as RTTY messages in the amateur short wave bands.

The HAL KB2100 keyboard is quite compact and bulky with 6,5cm at the back, 17,5cm depth and 35,5cm width. Bottom and top parts of the keyboard are sturdy metal, the PCB is screwed to the top part of the case with standoffs which then slides into the bottom part.

This keyboad uses linear M61-0120 tee mount Cherry gold crosspoint switches, also known as "Serie M7" from Cherry.
