Description
The height of the keyboard is fixed. Four patterned rubber strips on the base keep it steady on the desk. The cable is detachable and it connects via a standard mini-USB connector on the back (left side).
The keyboard has three layers, one of which is programmable:
- Normal layer printed on top of keycaps (non-programmable)
- FN layer printed in front of keycaps (non-programmable) also including media keys
- PN macro layer (programmable)
Underneath the keyboard there are four DIP switches to swap or modify as many keys. Indicator LEDs are located under the relevant keycaps. The larger modifiers use Cherry stabilisers. The keyboard has 6-key rollover over USB.
Macros
Macros can be activated individually with PN + keypress, or they can be locked with FN + Right SHIFT (after which PN + keypress triggers the normal layer).
Programming
Each key can be programmed with up to 14 key presses, with the exception of the FN and PN keys which cannot be programmed. Programming is done as follows:
- Enter Programming Mode: Press PMode (FN + Right CTRL) (Spacebar right LED flashes)
- Select Key: Press the key to program (Spacebar right LED stays on)
- Input Programming Sequence: Type the desired sequence, then press PN (Spacebar right LED flashes again). Delays can be added with FN + F (15ms per press), FN + G (0.1s per press), FN + H (0.5s per press).
- (Repeat Steps 2 and 3 as required)
- Exit Programming Mode: Press PMode (FN + Right CTRL) (Spacebar right LED turns off)
To view programming content, open a text editor and press PN + any key in selection mode. To reset programming, hold FN + R for 3 seconds until the spacebar left LED flashes. Continue holding until it flashes 9 times, then release to reset to factory settings.
DIP switches
This keyboard has four DIP switches on the back:[1]
- SW 1 ON: CAPS, Left WIN/Left FN swap position; CAPS LED, Left WIN LED swap position
- SW 2 ON: Ctrl_R becomes `
- SW 3 ON: Left WIN becomes Left FN
- SW 4 ON: Write-protect keyboard programming
