Mechanical Enterprises or MEI was an American electronics manufacturer founded by the late Robert H. Twyford.[1] MEI introduced the Microtype Space-Saving Keyboard around 1988 which, after the company was reincorporated as Datalux in 1990,[1] became the Datalux SpaceSaver series.
