The Puchi-C is a Pro Micro clone with a mid-mount USB-C port, made by Keycapsss.

Differences to the Pro Micro

Changes

  • The USB receptacle is mid-mounted USB-C. The shield is through-hole soldered, making it more durable than the surface-mounted USB Micro receptacle on the Pro Micro.
  • The Power LED has been moved and changed to blue.

Additions

  • Five additional I/O pins are exposed on the short edge, matching the Elite-C, making the total 23.
  • The D+ and D- lines have pins, allowing an external USB port
  • A physical reset button.

Omissions

  • No indicator LEDs. PD5 is instead broken out on the short edge.

Compatibility

  • It is pin-compatible with the Pro Micro. Unlike the Elite-C, the RAW pin has not been replaced with PB0.
  • The five additional pins on the short edge are the same as on the Elite-C.
  • The D+ and D- pins are not in the same positions as the Elite-C.
