Push button switch is an inverted leaf spring which is housed in a frame opposite from variable power contact mechanisms that have a plurality of fixed terminals supported by a switch block. Among its main features, was the stroke improvement of the keytops, a revised frame, and the adaptation of these contact mechanisms to operate under different magnitudes of power. The patent number 4186290 for the invention was granted in 1980. [1]
