Description

This keyboard is built as OEM part for „Multicom“, probably for DTP purposes. It uses a PS/2 interface with proprietary extension for the many unlabled keys. A familiar looking version was built for DTP usage with Atari computers, although with MIDI-interface[1]. The labelled keycaps are double shot; the quadratic have a removable transparent inlay, to accommodate labels.

For the alphanumeric part, the cursor keys and some of the blank keys, it sends normal PS/2 codes; on the left hand bottom there is an (unlabelled) number block. For the other keys, there are two modes: After startup, they send proprietary sequences. When pressing "cpas lock", the keyboard changes and stays, independently from the "caps lock" state, into another mode, where they send "r77 rF0 r77", and after a pause of some seconds another short sequence of proprietary codes.
