The Siemens 97801-132 keyboard belongs to the 97801 Terminal, which was meant to be used with Sinix multiuser systems. It features a screwless case design, providing a seamless exterior. It includes extensive shielding measures: a metal plate on the back of the keyboard, a fully shielded and clamped down cable, and a cardboard-coated copper plate positioned between the front case and the circuit board. Additionally, a rubber mat is placed between the back of the circuit board and the rear case for extra protection.
The AK/U6 stamp on the label denotes the manufacturing site and time (Amberg, June 1985).
