TX Keyboard is a brand name for keyboard kits and assembled keyboards sold by Kin25. Other items sold under the brand name of TX Keyboard include Cherry MX switch modding films as well as various tools for switch modding and keyboard assembly.
TX Keyboard is related to the Korean keyboard community KBDLab. The PCBs used in most TX designs are designed by Leeku and can be programmed using the JigOn software.
Design Highlights
TX Keyboard are famous for being very heavy and sturdy designs with plate mounted switches. The mounting plate is either screwed into the case top or bottom piece. Cases are always three part designs (bottom, plate, top). All TX Keyboard designs rely on PCB mounted stabilizers.
The keyboard cases of TX Keyboard are either made of aluminium or polycarbonate. Some designs offer screw-in bottom weights that available in stainless steel and brass. Mounting plates are available in aluminium, stainless steel and brass depending on the exact model. Prototype models have been spotted with copper plates.
Early designs did not support ISO layouts while modern designs support all common layout options. Selected models support split space bar layouts.
