This should be megrged into the Model M article. I can't see here any difference. (7bit)
- The idea is that the Model M page is meant to be a landing page for all the membrane buckling spring keyboards. --daedalus
- I concur—for the most part. I was looking for the foundation Model M article. However, this article implies that even the earliest Model M's were made by Lexmark—is that true? I thought that for the first several years, IBM used their own manufacturing facilities, and then contracted out to Lexmark. That's what [Wikipedia's Model M article] states, at least. – Ander (talk) 09:51, 13 February 2015 (CET)
That's not right
- Unicomp's designs have not differed from late IBM ones, save for the introduction of Windows keys, USB connections, and different colour options.
Well, that's not right, is it? Unicomp entirely redesigned the Model M, so they could keep it under $100. (IBM and Lexmark M's were hundreds of dollars each.) I haven't presumed to change the article, but thought I'd mention it. – Ander (talk) 10:00, 11 January 2024 (CET)
