Tokai MTB series is a flat profile relegendable keycap family from Tokai designed for Tokai MM9 series switches. The dimensions drawing is from 2002, although the keycap series first appeared on the Tokai website around late 2000 when the different switch types gained separate pages (the first archive of the redesigned website is from 17th October 2000, but the MM9 page was not seen until 25th December 2001).
Types
There are only two known types:
- MTB-SCB: 1 unit (possibly "S" for "single key")
- MTB-WCB: 2 units (possibly "W" for "wide key")
The keycaps were intended for MM9 switches (「MM9シリーズ用キートップ」 — "Keytop for MM9 series") and were included on the MM9 page, from which they could be ordered directly in packs of 20 (MTB-SCB) or 10 (MTB-WCB).
