Wooting One Is the first keyboard from Wooting and the first commercial computer keyboard with analogue-capable Adomax Flaretech switches.

The One is in tenkeyless form factor. A full-size Wooting Two keyboard was successfully funded July 1th 2018 and available for pre-order. Pre-order

Key features

The Wooting allows the user to switch between Analog and Digital by pressing the mode key on the top right corner of the keyboard.

In Wootility the keyboard can be configured, both digital and analog profiles, this includes tweaking the analog curve, setting actuation points, using different LED configs, LED animations and many other features. Wootility is currently available for Linux, MacOS X and Windows Vista, 7 and 10 (64bit). All versions can be downloaded here

The Wooting also has DKS (double keystroke) that allows for different functions to be activated at different actuation, you can read more on this here, DKS 2.0 is currently in beta.

Tachyon mode, with this you can greatly increase the input speed to be less than 1 millisecond. Read more

Firmware updates are provided.

Construction

The keyboard is a floating-key design, with the mounting plate exposed. The switch modules are detachable from the top plate with the help of an included ring-type switch/keycap-puller. A couple of spare switch modules of either type are included. The "Premium" package includes also a complete set of the other switch type (linear vs. clicky).

The plate has a sandblasted black-anodised finish with an appearance similar to the plastic side and bottom. It is replaceable, and an extra set of screws are included in case the original screws would get lost.

The cable is thin and braided, and the micro-USB plug plugs into the bottom of the keyboard. There is a cable gutter with exits out the back in the centre and closer the left and right corners.

The keyboard has RGB full-colour backlighting and thin keycaps made from translucent plastic painted black as is the norm for backlit gaming keyboards.

Availability

It was initially crowdfunded on Kickstarter in May 2016 with first shipments at the end of July 2017.

It is currently available from various re-sellers, including amazon, for a list see wooting.io. Four main variants, with Blue (clicky) or Red (linear) switches and ISO or ANSI layout, are available. During the preorder phase, a "Premium" package, with full sets of both switches, existed, but seems to have been discontinued. The "Premium" package on the Kickstarter included an additional top plate with a brushed finish.
