Yeah, on my Dell XT2 I have to hit both the left and right mouse buttons to use middle-click, it's tricky to get it just right

All modern Logitech stuff I've used seems like crap to me. Unless it's something like a trackball it doesn't sound very enticing.

You can mod a Dell Quietkey with PCB-mount Cherry MX switches as I have done. Haven't worked on the PCB much due to lack of interest from the community, but if you're interested I could work on it some more to make another round of PCBs and fix some of the errors/bad design in the previous ones ...

The thing I like about the MX style switches is easy prototyping. No need to worry about a mounting plate which is why I haven't built an Alps custom yet as I am still figuring out details on how to design the mounting plates.

Getting this working on a PC would be insane, including that giant volume wheel. These are the conductive dome variant correct? Would be fairly easy to map out the matrix and do a QMK controller replacement if that's the case.

I've been trying to find a full size Quiet Click keyboard. Matias discontinued theirs, and I can't find a used one in PC layout. I'd buy the Mac layout, but the Insert Key is replaced by the Help key, which can't be remapped.

But I also need hardware programmable macros, which Matias keyboards ...

Zeal Clickiez or I-Rocks switches may be what you're looking for.

I added this keyboard to the wiki and to the list of keyboards that can come with Aristotle switches.

Picked up 2 of the 40$ Qtronix trackball keyboards, and other has Aristotle white axis and one has very clicky Alps clones!

You can use a Matias stab kit to get the 6.25u spacebars working by using the Costar wire and filing down the inserts so they don't bottom out on the plate. The Alps clips hold onto the wire a bit tight but you can heat up the wire with a soldering iron briefly to reform them to the right size.

It includes a Gerber as well so you can just ship it off to your PCB manufacturer of choice without fussing around with KiCAD

I did but I think my SATA to USB adapter is fried, I can't get it to read the drive. Will try to find another one.
However, the GH80-3000 PCB should work with your case and the files are online.

Looks like the place/thread to ask, to identify the following keyswitch, and to ask where I might get keycaps.
Another tech friend has a few hundred of them, no data or source, unused old stock. In summary,

None of these new switch designs ever seem to make it past "gaming" keyboards sadly.

Still no non-backlit non-gamer keycaps available for Kailh Choc or any standards or availability whatsoever for low profile stabilizers.

The newer cases have different mounting posts (I have a newer g81-8000 case)

There was a PCB called the Chili that was compatable with both but I can't find it anymore. I think I downloaded the github files but will have to pull out my old hard drive to check.
