Re: Filco re-soldering project - worth it?
It's worth it if it's worth it to you.
I had good fun buying gateron inks to lube and swap into my Pok3r which had cherry mx blacks. It was my first mech and wanted to spruce it up a little. So I can see the appeal.

Re: Zenith Z150 Key Chatter w/ Soarers - Help Thread
I had the exact same problems you described with my z150 and an internal soarers.
It is 100% the firmware used. I realized this because keys wouldn't register but the internal beeper would still go off. Someone on the DT discord helped me... I don't remember what I flashed but it was a standard ...

Re: Eclipse F62 - technique for replacing spring
I use toothpicks inserted into the center of the spring and it has always worked pretty well.
Another (albeit somewhat unfeasable) technique that I found massively improved the feel / consistency was replacing the springs, 90% of the key caps, and flippers with components from my XT. I think the ...

Does anyone recognize this or the switches it uses? Very bizarre layout.

Re: Dear Model F owners, can we talk? (Long rant)
It was my understanding the solenoid activated when the terminal couldn't keep up with your key presses? I'm recalling from a YouTube comment I read years ago so maybe this is totally wrong.

[WTB] Leading edge dc-2014 spacebar
The spacebar in my dc-2014 is messed up and it makes typing on it pretty annoying.
Perhaps a long shot, but maybe someone has a spare? If they harvested the board and kept the extra keycaps? I need the stabilizer wire, the spacebar, and the stabilizer holder things (basically just the spacebar ...

Re: Dear Model F owners, can we talk? (Long rant)
Wanted to give my two cents on this, I have always been in the camp that model fs were way better, having a clean XT, while my only experiences with M's were ones from the 90's.
Recently I had been donated a 1390120 M from my uni, dated Jan 17 of 86. It feels much, much better than every other ...

nos datacomp dfk777 with blue alps. expensive, and I don't need another blue alps keyboard, but looks absolutely delicious. I've never seen one without a super scratched up metal back. (well, outside of the wiki

Re: Alps Appreciation
Another thought I had, is there any discernable rhyme or reason to why some of these had the Zenith in gold, while others had the data systems in gold? The ones with the gold on the Zenith seem much more rare, are they the earlier badge? Or maybe from a different PC / monitor, because it seems the ...

[WTB] Sanyo MBC-555 Keyboard
I am looking for the keyboard that came with the Sanyo MBC-555. I am only looking for one in good condition, with smooth switches, no binding. Not super yellowed. Doesn't have to be converted. I am located in the U.S.A. Looking to pay around ~$200 (maybe this is too low i dont really know).
Thanks ...
