I do find the Model Fs a pain to type on, as I'm not used to the insanely changed layout on the PC\XTs, and the AT is mostly the same, but I'm not the biggest fan of the modifier keys having different positions, when compared to a modern United States keyboard layout.

The XTs and 3178s in particular can't be modded to ANSI. On the other hand, AT and F122 can be pretty easily, and with some effort one can even add two more modifier keys to the F AT.

Well, while cleaning the keyboards I have here (I'm not cleaning all of them, only the couple I kept here at my house), I found a fast way to remove the keys is to use a plastic knife as it slides right under the keys along a line for an entire row at once. Anyone else ever try it?

I've seen a guy do that on youtube, I'm not sure if it does any damage though doing it like that.

I think Ascaii demonstrated that method at the keyboard party last year. :)

I got 2x AT and 3x XT for $5 each, from a guy who kept them in the basement, but in excellent condition. On US eBay they sell for $30 - $100, depending on condition. The one on the front right is a display writer, some are from '70s, and doesn't work with Soarer converter.
