Just received it today, old mx blacks? They feel really smooth compared to my G80-3000.
The delete key looks a bit damaged on the bottom right corner.

Nice find! You should read my geekhack post about it and see if yours is mode4 or mode2. If you have one of the old ones, every single key will be fully hardware programmable, not just the 4 at the top! And yes, those look like old MX Blacks... if the wide logo theory is correct.

What you think is the problem with the small added friction of the newer blacks? Plastic or spring?

Ok sixty, I did not try to program the keys yet but I have tried switching modes up to 4 and all works.
Plus I'm able to do the , . 00 000 thing.

I found this one NIB. Cherry G80-3700HPU. Manual is from 1998.

In America we have one G80-3000 model available and disgustingly filthy POS keyboards.

I notice the "General Advice" section has a PING section not allowing us to sue Cherry Corporate executives or accuse them of accosting hotel maids.
