No worries then, at least we know what to expect with this, a seller who doesn't like to front up for a potential business deal. At least he's honest about that.

I had tried to order a few things from the taobao seller in question and the agent I was using quickly refunded my order.

When I asked why they said they did not recommend buying from that seller.

Too clarify the agent didn't specify a reason.

Maybe I was harsh in my opinion's (such as they are) BUT maybe, he sees a lot of merchandise being wanted by us and he is now scouring all over Hong Kong and China looking for the items we want.

I know if I got a HUGE order for items on my website I would be calling in favours, debts and what not, to get those items in quickly. After all, a business man loves making a sale and when there is heaps of interest on his website, he should go crazy trying to find all the items to make this Group Buy happen.

At least it's my own 'personal' take on his sudden avoidance in making contact with Tinlong.

I'm just dropping in here because I heard SSK's being mentioned. What's the deal here, the vendor's not communicating?
I'd love an SSK especially at that price but I see a lot of other people want them as well. Still says 4 in stock, or has no one placed an order for them yet?

There are a few other things I'd like on his shop, but SSK primarily. If the vendor's really sketchy though then maybe I shouldn't take my chances...

As I'm reading through the thread I'm not seeing a mention of shipping to North America. Would that be a major issue? Shipping to Canada preferred but US is fine too. How much do you think a rough estimate would be for this?
I could pitch in for the shipping from China to you (Matt) and then pay for shipping from you to me as long as it's not completely outrageous (as overseas shipping usually is)

I'm looking for things to beef up my order since it seems nothing I wanted was in stock(?? can you confirm) except for the trackball and I don't think that is going to be worth the two lots of postage on its own
