I know, but I don't consider that hack very practical7bit wrote:Reset flash counter not possible when phone is dead. Also: Can't save private data on removable SD-card only, so sending phone to mfgr is a bad idea anyway. It is like the useless warranty for a hard disk.

All "Nexus Edition" means is that the interface is relatively close to stock Android and the device is unlocked. The software and upgrades will come from Samsung. Will it come out faster because Samsung doesn't have to port their Touchwiz glue and skin to the next Android? Maybe. It is entirely up to Samsung which will come out first. Maybe they will use their Nexus Edition customers as beta testers for their platform port before sending it to the majority of their customers. Maybe they will take their time since the customer base is small.t!ng wrote:I think Nexus edition means that it will get the newest android release as fast as other nexus devices directly from google.
They advertised the feature, but after the first two sales rounds they removed it from their website, because they had forgotten to give the USB Port enough voltage to support otg . They never even answered the bug report about it(last time I checked) .ne0phyte wrote:Really? Why the f*** would the not support OTG?mintberryminuscrunch wrote:PS: Nexus 4 doesn't support OTG

I see no poll option for not getting a smartphone ...7bit wrote:I've added a poll, so please let me know which smartphone I should get!
Well, people have no problem holding a 5"+ baking tray next to their ear and talking to it. Where's the difference in holding a G80 to your head? Doesn't have to be the full 102/105 keys, I can live with a 1800 series...Muirium wrote:A slider phone with MX Blues! They don't even fit in notebooks nowadays. Or did they ever?
