Yes, probably should have just gone for it all in the first place. I'm not sure about. I think quite a few people didn't like the shade so much, too much lilac and not enough violet I think. Honest, I was more thinking towards the 60 and 75% kit boards that were (are) coming up rather than bigger.

Making one large language pack might push people away as the price goes up. If there is some small overlap between the languages in the big pack that means that it's going to be hard to sell leftover caps as they are uncompleted sets. For me it's better to get more copies of the language pack I want. Maybe make the minimum order two sets.

Do you think a nordic only language pack can reach 400 MOQ?

Just 100 ppl voted so far. I think no language can reach the MOQ alone. And I think the numbers will decrease, if you have to oder more than one set, because I would make a mini groupbuy with friends, who would make an own order otherwise.

No, but the DE/DK/NO/SF pack (as originally suggested) has a lot of overlap and might make it. I'm just thinking of ways that would make you end up with two Italian sets instead if one Italian and one broken nordic/German one. It feels wrong to make/buy a lot of caps that will never be useful to anyone but maybe that's how it has to be. Maybe we can make one big set of all languages (including ansi), get a little bit better price and everybody share the cost of making everyone happy

The biggest thing that would make another language 'broken' is the number row. Remember the Generic set will come with one of it's own without any shifted characters which can be used. So theoretically someone could buy 1 language pack and 2 generic sets and still have 2 workable full sets in different languages. But it will depend on pricing a lot I am sure which way it will go and I have not gotten a final quote yet. Even though the packs have several language, there really is not that many keys in them, so the prices shouldn't be really high.

Sounds good. If the price is right a "big" language pack won't be an issue.

Almost ready to move this along, but in case you haven't voted it's still not too late. I have added a couple more mock ups of what they will contain finally. Just working on some legend availability issues so some packs legends may be subject to change yet, or we may have a few pad printed keys possibly. Once everything is locked down and I have final pricing I will get it moved on to buy status. Hopefully this will happen in the next week or so.

A question about the mockups: why do the numpad keys in the Alpha base pack only have numbers and no secondary legends (arrows, Home/End/PgUp/PgDn/Ins/Del)?

Neither language packs nor Nav packs seem to replace these, so these are what everybody will be using.

Also a white mod pack, like what was done previously with the fn windowed keys would be nice.

We need more windowed modifier and fn keys!!!

Numpad is numbers only because, we can avoid legends availability issue, avoid localization, and there is not incorrect sublegends for cases like the Plum96, CM TK and programmable numpads.
I will have the other language pack visual guide finish soon, definitely by the time I kick it into ordering.

I'm sure we will do black or some color on white keys pretty soon, probably on the 3rd buy.

The NAV pack is very interesting. Any chance you'd include 12 to 15 or 18 windowed keycaps to completely fill the top row?

Any plans to do space-bar packs in future? Would be awesome to be able to buy a 4 pack with a 6.25/7U in white & black.

GMK is located in Bavaria and the summer break for the Schools has just begun this week...
So yes, they are probably not at full staff capacity at the moment

Yeah the way I look at it is with the black mods and a black space-bar option people can then go an cannibalize any G81 board with MY caps and have a full set.

I will go ahead and announce the winner, which little surprise is grey with 53% of votes and runner up blue with 39%. That means we will be doing darker Dolch like scheme.
Purple nav pack didn't get enough votes to satisfy me that it will make MOQ. Perhaps we will revisit it some other time.

I realized there was some keys missing from the Euro pack, so I am just waiting quote adjustment after I sent GMK the corrections. I also noticed that some other languages are going to be pretty close to taken care of missing only unique accented character like Estonian. I don't know if we have any members there, but if so you are covered. As soon as I have all the correct pricing I will get the buy live, should be real soon now.
