Nice! I don't like skulls, but they make a good header. And ironic too. GH needs these!
Your red PCB is pretty Matt, but 7bit is right about focus. It's okay but not tack sharp. That's dull light for you.

You have to be careful with excessively sharp and detailed images for backgrounds. Ideally you want simple designs that are decorative without being overly distracting.7bit wrote: matt3o's is not sharp enough.

7bits's are the best (as always):
:ugeek:
Besides, that second one of yours has problems with the illumination — the light from the flash is uneven and the shadows are too deep, and it looks like there's some blowouts too.

7bit's infamous glare! I suspect he takes pictures at night with no ambient or spot light.

I do this on purpose. To me, photography is art, not science!webwit wrote:7bit's infamous glare! I suspect he takes pictures at night with no ambient or spot light.

In fact, I'm HAL9007, a descendant of HAL9000.
Like my (grand^6)-father, my vision system is based on the Nikon F mount, so I can see through any Nikon lens and also use the Nikon flash system including IR AF-assist light, which gives me the ability to focus in the dark and make ultra-sharp photos.

I'll pick one, then later if we get bored with it we can switch to another version.

Yeah, I should learn some crafty Photoshop for that. These extreme close ups demand extreme attention to dirt.
Perhaps if I offer to really clean it for them I can borrow the museum's beam spring…

It'd be hard to decide what to do about the beam spring's contamination shield.

Indeed. How about the caps: would I be save to pop those off and give them a wash? I've not tried removing anything from the keyboard when I'm there, other than a quick dust down.

The caps would be fine if you rock them forward and backward. Never left to right because it will bend the connection since its a vertical slit.
