There's an A.87 based GB starting at geekhack which might be worth checking out.

Personally i'm kinda hoping for the "phantom" i never got my hands on.
Final PCB samples have yet to be posted, but if the promises hold true those are going to be some fascinating boards.

Also: please order many TKL pcb's.

Yeah, I really appreciate a korean GB for plates, PCBs and cases, but this Sprit person is just way too confusing at times... and it's not just because of the translation!

Haha! The koreans like to cram in as much stuff as possible in a given space.
Not sure if you have to edit the google doc or just say what you want in the thread, but this definitely looks interesting.

Exactly my thoughts. Some interesting stuff there but its so confusing! Man, round 4 was complicated but at least well structured.

Thanks, but i'm not shopping where the customer isn't valued.

The pcb GB seems manageable: it's just 4 different size PCB's for which the full details are pending.
There's more related information than GB information, that's sure confusing.

:?:

Did you have a bad experience with MechanicalKeyboads.com? My experience with them has always been positive, so I find this surprising.

Bad experience would be exaggerated since frosty communication prohibited an actual purchase.

Not trying to be an apologist for them, but I'm sorry to hear that.

Again, my experience has been completely different. PM me if you'd like the e-mail address of the owner of the company should you want to try them again.

It's no big deal really. Phantom has vanished from their shop anyway. Shipping to Europe is 22$ for a simple pcb. Combining the parts for a single costar stab in this shop amounts to 16,50$.. i don't know.. can i be a fan of this?

As for the OT: we managed to get him miffed (do you say that?) over simply requesting a current picture of the current product which currently is supposed to be in his possession, so for now i better withdraw my recommendation until this is cleared up.

It's weird and extremely confusing that he just keeps posting pics of more or less random keyboards and not just post of the actual PCBs. If you have got something to hide, burry it in junk is sometimes the best way.

Yea, that's the vibe im getting too right now.

It's just too bad that samwise and his GH75 idea looks to be inactive. Then our only bet is to trust the shady GBs! Haha.

It doesn't even have to be keyboards every time! xD

If you are confused by the lambo pics, it's his way of teasing his alu case design, which will be revealed in 2 weeks

He's a really cool guy, trying to fit a decent amount into one GB, plates and pcbs of all sizes, and a lot of different cases of his own design.

The IC threads were certainly messy, but the OPs of the GBs are much, much clearer.

The pcb GB is so clear and pure it even did away with photos of the products on offer.. there's not a single picture of even one of the actual boards.
A 110% size board on offer, yet the single low res photo shows not even half of it.

Did you follow how he evades requests for a picture?

Of the cases there's no decent resolution picture, no shot taken from the side neither are there any details of how they're assembled.

I have the same doubts...maybe someone who go often to KBDmania can confirm that he's reliable (or not)

I know that on kbdmania he posts most of the same pictures as in the GB. Even before the GB he seems to
spam a lot of pictures, but I don't see him as a scammed!
