Not sure what this G8X-3000 (with lasered caps) has been modded for, but the description sounds promisingMuirium wrote:I'm buying an M0110 from Snoopy in Germany. because the seller throws around amateur radio abbreviations. Item category gives it away.
He modded the keyboard to send CW signals ( Continuous wave, a method of carrier wave modulation used for sending Morse code ) to a TRX ( Transceiver, a combination of a transmitter and a receiver ) via The microprocessor module CWKtiny he built into the board.
In other words: This keyboard will send the morse code for the keys you press when you plug it into an amateur radio device.

* ergodex, as seen here:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/400637189218?ssP ... 1436.l2649
* ice cube maker in keyboard shape:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/271365663281?ssP ... 1436.l2649
* NIB Cherry Simplico G81 keyboard. The relegendables and their labels are original, the description however is wrong. Simplico was a Fujitsu brand aimed at elderly, providing an easy to use computer system. Made in 2006, Linux based, with a GUI designed for persons who never had contact with Computers before. Being very pricey it became a commercial flop. Pics of the system here - the keyboard is pretty rare I guess:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/161188291302?ssP ... 1436.l2649
* And then three AEK II's from the same seller, all in their original box. Sold with the claim: "hardly get any louder typing than with these keyboards" :
ANSI, claimed very little use in Box:

samesame:

some ISO layout I can't identify, maybe UK? He says so. He also says the capslock "doesn't come out nicely".

How about this old IBM board with Japanese/Chinese characters:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/141160854212#ht_6459wt_896
It has old Alps vintage tee mount switches and doubleshot keycaps and a grouping of relegendable caps.
Basically THIS board, but I think a different model number.
I already picked one up, but looks like he has one more.

There were 2 Deskthority group buys for this (10 sold each time) and a recent Geekhack thread about it, where another 8 were sold. This seller must have had quite a load of them. (or he buys them in lots of 10 from somewhere in China or Japan)
Mine should be arriving today.

Is he selling from an old stockpile of these? These are NOS, right? I'm just a little confused how you would do a group buy on old equipment.

This is correct price!
It is also way cheaper than my own fake Honayewell key caps order!

They sell it cheaper on their own website:
http://www.recycledgoods.com/product/36 ... w-keyboard
The link's in my OP on the Honeywell thread, in fact.
Note the yellowed keys. My Honeywell's "A" is yellow, too, but not the rest. Wonder why they go at different speeds?
Also the Caps Lock is quite different from mine. This one has a light. Otherwise, same hardware by the look of it.

Ah, of course, I remember you were after the 660m. Give it a little comparative review with its Topre brother when it arrives! You had the 660c long enough to get a good impression of it.
