Sorry, but I'm out, too as I cannot wait anymore and found I can save 75% if I only order the one I need directly :-)

I bought a few spares last time I ordered from Floris, so I'm not in a hurry.

I'd still like to get them soon but not urgently, so I don't mind being patient for another short while. Until I get my caps and plate for my custom board, I only want to use the Teensy for a one-key testing keyboard for fun, so it's no big deal either way.

Happy to wait here as well, I have plenty of little projects to keep me going before I'm going to need these.

Haven't heard anything hear in 2 weeks. Did everyone decide *not* to take the lower MOQ of 50? I have some projects that are begging to be worked on, not sure if I can wait and wait.

Well the thing is that if we go with the MOQ of 50, I actually end up paying more getting them from this GB than buying them directly from PJRC and getting cheap pins from eBay, which is why I wanted to wait it out. Not because it's a significant saving, moreso because it'd be cool if we could get this GB off the ground and then they'll be cheaper for everyone.

Basically, if we go for the MOQ of 50 then I'm gonna have to bail and buy them myself and someone else will have to pick up the extra 4 to compensate, which is kind of shitty and I'd prefer not to do that!

Yesterday, I sent a PM to jdcarpe to add one more Teensy in my order and ask some update but still no reply.

We still miss a EU proxy if someone is interested. I'm not sure to have the time to do it myself.

Totally understandable. Now I'm wondering if I should cancel my order or just let it ride out. If the GB goes long enough I may need some more Teensies by then anyway.

Just so I know, how do I cancel or modify my order?

Yeah I may start a full time job and have no experience in proxying so I don't want to take a commitment if I'm not sure to handle it efficiently :/
As the starting thread says : just pm jdcarpe for changes ;) Edit : JD replied and changed my order so the GB is not suspended.

Good news, everyone!!!

MechanicalKeyboards, always coming through for our group buys. :D They placed a large order, which when combined with my order, puts us over 100. I will start invoicing this weekend, and you will have until February 21 to get all payments in. The sooner the better though, so that I can order the Teensys from PJRC once I receive all payments.

THANK YOU, EVERYONE!!

P.S. If you were waiting to put in a last minute order, you had better do it quickly!

I was going to order one more, but I just noticed that in the time it has taken to complete this group buy the Canadian dollar has dropped drastically against the US dollar (inexplicably because the Canadian economy is in much better shape). Now I don't have enough money in the PayPal account for another one (even though it's the exact same in $CAD) and it took 14 days (!) to transfer money from my bank account last time.

Oh well, 2 will be enough for now I guess.

Looks like 11, if you include your Russian neighbor. Quite a few are from the UK.

Sounds like we need a UK proxy. (I'm still up for it.)

I might be in if you get a UK proxy. As it stands, it is cheaper for EU folks to buy straight from PJRC so I haven't joined even though I will be needing a few.

Looks like Muirium will proxy shipping for European orders, so order away! Thanks, Muirium!! :)

I'll get some quotes for bubble mailers (to Germany, France, Sweden and Russia?) from the post office on Monday so we can work it all out.

Hey wait a minute.. maybe I should get Muirium to proxy ship to me too. The US-Canada shipping time is so pathetic, it would probably be faster to ship US to Scotland then back to Canada. ;)

I've had things shipped UK to Canada in 4 days, while New York state to Ontario - 100km over the border - took 26 days!

My order is already for 2 people so shipping isn't too bad as it is. I don't think it'll be much cheaper to proxy mine. What do you guys think?

Well, the shipping on your invoice will cost $13.50. If you are in the group Muirium is proxying, I will bill only Muirium for shipping all European orders to him at $26, and he will bill each of you your individual share of the shipping cost (11 orders, including his), or $2.36 plus whatever shipping from him to you is, probably around $2 or so.

Yeah, I'll get a quote for Ireland too. (Assuming you're in the Republic?)

Sure, in that case I might as well get a quote too if you don't mind Mu! And I am indeed in the Republic.

Firstly, thanks Muirium to handle the proxying part.

JD, I received my invoice and, as I expected, I still wait for the validation of the bank transfer to my PP account since 02/02 so now it wont take more than few days to be able to pay you. The most disturbing is that yesterday I was able to complete a payment with a rapid transfer from my bank account added to the few bucks in my PP account but the transfer interface doesn't allow me to do the same quick way when I want to add some money in prevision :o

Okay, I got quotes:

£1 shipping for the UK, and £3 shipping for everyone else in Europe, including Ireland and even Russia. Whatever customs we pay just gets split per Teensy.

I'll also point out that I'm fine taking Euros in PayPal if any of you prefer. But we'll do all that once they're ordered and get over here.
