I wanted to remove some Cherry MY Switches from a Peacock G81 plate. Each switch has two feet each with a pin inside of it. So to remove the switch you first have to remove the pin. It can easily be done with 3 needles. I took some pictures for the chance that anybody ever would like to remove a cherry MY switch again.

Thanks for the guide but what is the point of removing MY switches?

Just for checking if one could turn a "modern" G81 into a winkeyless G81 without modifying the board. It works. I think that's the reason why cherry introduced those off center stem keys. (More)

Ahh okay, as I know most people actually dislike the feel of a MY switch, but for those who actually like it and want a winkeyless g81, this could be helpfull!
