Ok, disregard what I wrote above, matt3o is some kind of wizard and makes it look good regardless...

I like it, too!

Much improved! And anyone with a spare Mµ key knows who to talk to!

I'd also be interested in spare §½, 1u \| and maybe UK number row keys. But the trades come later…

Second batch, there are quite a few things to fix but it's good enough to start the GB

As unbeatable said, you nicely and simply resolved the third legend issue : You are truly a magician Matt :)

A fully front legendered keyset with blank top should be beautiful and must be less expensive as any dye subbed or double shot with the pad printing process but let's keep ideas for another epic GB. :)

Any chance to see these colors on an actual keycaps/keyboard? (even using photoshopping)
A nice "3d" pic can entice even more interest :)

would be nice if some 3d artist would chime in...

Some DSA Retro pictures should do the trick. These will be like those, only PBTier!

would you check the mono-legends? They both had some errors and nobody noticed. I made some changes but I don't know if I actually did well...

The pictures are quite low res, so it's hard to tell if the µ is lopsided because of aliasing or not. Same with the upper part of the $ vertical stroke. Got a vector?

No mono legends for pipe and underscore? I won't miss them but I wanted to point out this little inconsistency.

Well, with international support especially, we could go on forever. I won't miss those two either. Now that I have § and µ!

pipe 1.5u or 1u?

underscore definitely is missing but being on the same key of - do we really need it? (ie: can you tell the difference since you won't be using them together?)

My point exactly. There's no need for duplication. And I'd much rather have . and , in the kit than two shades of something else. (Thanks for that!)

also, in the previous iteration I've also added the Ê key... but I don't really remember why and I removed it. Does anyone miss it?

Nah, I wouldn't add them. I can see the use of numrow symbols in a mono legend set but pipe and underscore are of marginal value. They would just inflate the costs. Backslash and dash are good enough ;)

pfiu! I spend Sunday morning setting up all the templates... The legends thickness/positioning are not final yet but the number/type of keys are. This is the last chance to fix errors in number and size of keys while we will have more time to fix the legends (wrong positioning/size/thickness/etc).

Please review them carefully and report any error

From the link below you can download the whole set in PNG+SVG format. Play with them, mix and match the keys to compose your preferred layout and post the result here. It's a great way to spot errors!

This is a very time consuming task for me, I'm doing it for free, but if you are interested in the set please help me spotting stupid errors.

Thanks!

PS: first error spotted (and corrected) in the windowed kit

Awesome! I'll check it out when I can and up my own layouts as you suggest. Fine idea! And your work is well appreciated by everyone.

I don't have Gotham so can't directly edit the SVG, but I'll look over them, see what I can spot.

Icon mod set, the home and end keys have changed (just arrows now, no page border). That was intentional, I take it?

In the Apple kit the second 1u "shiny" key (don't know what kind of key that is) is too small, isn't it?
And it's not centered.
The 1.75u FN is gone, I guess?

I will covert all text in paths, but not just now (I still need them in text format)

yes that was intentional.

I think I will convert 1.75u return to FN. Not decided yet.

I'll probably get both kits anyway, but isn't it a bit strange to have ISO left shift and Alt Gr (wich only ISO users need) in two separate kits?

Otherwise there ends up being a ridiculously large setup fee for the ISO kit, which makes it like $15 instead of $6. Matteo mentioned this previously in the thread.

Edit: actually I think this case was for left shift, but the same principle applies with setup cost etc

alt gr is pretty optional, you can live with just "alt" (and we are also trying to spread the cost around)

The masculine and feminine ordinal indicators in international set 1 are not consistent. The feminine one is underlined, the masculine one is not.

I'm also wondering what the deep-dish, dark grey caret in the homing kit is. Some part of the discussion I've missed, probably.

that's how Gotham is done, we can discuss that, but I see ° as degree symbol, as such without underline.

homing when the arrow cluster is in one block together with alpha/mods (65/75% layout mostly)

Upon returning from a business trip I see couple new pages. :) And my precious PGUP/PGDN gone.
IMNSHO they looked better and more consistent before, but I can live with current version.

I feel the same, but people go in division by zero if they read PGUP/DN... go figure...
