Depends on who's collecting. 7bit has a whole network of stooges helping him with this. Well, at least me and someone else on Paypal. Keep an eye on your next invoice.

What do you mean by "next invoice" ?
As far as I can see system works like this :
1. You send a list to 7bot
2. You receive invoice
3. You send money via paypal.
4. ------------------------------
5. You wait until goods are produced and shipped.
6. You receive the goods.
Or am I wrong? I just wanted to know if there is some action from money collectors/7bit/7bot at stage 4

You get another invoice. 7bit considers them a feedback system rather than a final statement. So if you paid your whole bill, your next invoice will say so. Or if you wound up ordering more, you'll get another.
The only confusing bit is the lag. Sometimes you'll get an invoice that's not up to date. This is because 7bit enters payment numbers manually from his collectors. So don't panic if so…

HONEY/PLS_START_NOW $1.007bit wrote:No, the order is complete, but the overrun is needed to make sure that costs for key caps are kept down and to make sure that the SP production team is not getting insane. I've aggreed to order in multiples of 25 which causes those many OVR-kits.
We have almost the funds together to pay SP so they will start production. Just waiting for around $150.

If I can just get an invoice for yesterday's folly, we'll be a little further down the road...Neebio wrote:HONEY/PLS_START_NOW $1.007bit wrote:No, the order is complete, but the overrun is needed to make sure that costs for key caps are kept down and to make sure that the SP production team is not getting insane. I have a lot of caps coming, 7bit. MODE LOCK could be useful too, but I've either got or don't need the others. Anyone after some?

That could be cool to compose our own OVR, for something like 3 dollars per key, but certainly horrible for you to handle them before shipping.7bit wrote:I could make an HONEY/MODIFIER/OVR6 kit consisting of just the ENTER key for you.
Let's say $5.

I have to stop ordering, 1 436 keycaps is enough, i already need to sell on the aftermarket 6 full azerty sets to cover the costs of my order. There is only a few extra keycaps (approx 10) that i would like but i could easily live without them or let people trade them after the group buy. I cannot afford buying five extra full sets and hoping that i will trade them easily but i could spend 20/30 USD to help finishing the group buy and get some extra keycaps.Muirium wrote:Come on, trading is half the fun with this stuff.

See how cunning it is that 7bit has his hungry customers wait right in front of the kitchen? Mmm… you can just smell those sweet, tasty tasty caps.
