There are still 20561 pieces for sale, worth $25600. Wow. I'm suprised by the quantities of the "leftovers".

I think its more an indication of the large volume?! (and material cost versus retail!!!)

Was 21538 pieces Monday, thats 500/day volume over a very short and statistically unsound 2 day period...

No its all good I think your service deserves a commission :D

I was trying to say I don't really think your getting $25K of plastic as "leftover" as Miko suggested

My attempt to make a 60% from leftovers is costing more than my existing TKL locked order  End up with 54 keys I won't be using  (ok few are spare spacebars, esc etc...)

Maybe I can lower some prices.
:?

Indeed, I don't expect to sell all the leftovers for their stated price. Also: Some kits will get a lower price when more are sold (BEPO and INTER kits, for example).

I suppose they are worth what the market will pay, but that depends on demand ;-) For example you have 26 JRET in stock, not sure your going to shift them as leftovers at $6 ea...

Others are then excellent value, for example all these sets are <$0.65 per cap:

Code: Select all

HONEY/TRASH1
HONEY/INTER/OVR3
HONEY/TRASH2

HONEY/FUNCTION7C
HONEY/TRASH3

To sell JRETs you could encourage the 029 keypunch approach:

just been looking at the leftovers too
so to clarify .
if I was to order more .I just order from the leftovers list and NOT include the "original order "(like we used to) as this is locked now and would be treated as a separate/new order ??

ISO enters look a bit nicer when matched up like that. The asymmetry thing puts me off ISO in general, but those two look like smartquotes. 66 and 99.

Whitecitadel: I ran those "caps to the buck" number when I was putting my order together too. The MUIRIUM kit always topped my chart, conveniently. White mods were at the other end of the table, but I just couldn't say no in the end…

Don't misunderstand me. I was just astonished by the quantities.

The result of making the quantities of each key cap a multiple of 25 to reduce costs, is paid with a higher amount of caps that don't make up complete kits.

7bit.. how many caps in total is SP producing for round5? or is that classified?

I could be wrong, but I believe you can extrapolate that data from the table at the bottom of the invoice....

Miurium - now I am deep into research into a custom 60% your blank kit seems excellent choice! sadly while they were in leftover last week now they are all sold...

Miko more = more (or at least that's what 7bit keeps saying...) ;-)

So I am going to opt for tracking. Just send SHIPTRACKED to bot?

That means $8 left. What can I buy? :P

Yes, just send that to the bot.
And then buy HONEY/VIM with your remaining $8. :P

I know it's personal preference, but is there any advice on getting tracked vs insured shipping? I'm in the US. Anything I need to worry about with customs, etc?

Not a fan of VIM.
I decided to go red with WASD ($3) and arrow cluster ($5). But I am surprise that there are so many types of arrow clusters! It's confusing.

Since I bought just a simple TKL set, I decided to go with this arrow cluster to match the rows. Do you think it is ok?
