Most people want the dark industrial grey 3077 NCR case, not the lighter coloured 3007 NCR case that lowpoly has, and his is also very yellowed. I'm interested in it though. Not sure what I'd be willing to pay for it but drop me a PM if you'd like to sell it lowpolydamorgue wrote: A lot of people appear to be looking for it atm, so a fair bit.

I wonder much are relegendable keycaps worth. I have ~92 1x and 4 2x (for two stems) unused ones, they appear to be Cherry uniform profile.

It's a Chicony KB6011 with MX copy clicky white switch. It's not really worth much of anything, maybe $5. Probably a decent base for some modding. Put in some real Cherry MX switch and some nicer keycap.
@davkol, Cherry relegendable can be a hard sell depend what color and I assume all the lens are present maybe something like $10-15 for the lot.

Thanks. It's a color like something between Unicomp's pearl and pebble, I think. I have some Cherry DS in the same color and I believe you asked me about them few years ago.

How much is a DE Skidata set worth? It's in very good condition, almost all the keys have no shine at all. The enter key has some shine, and one or two letters are only just starting to show some shine. Spacebar has no shine. I really have no clue what to charge for this. Got it from a board that I bought from that ebay seller.

Wondering if the Enter key shines more than this one? Not that good picture, but you see a little bit of usage.photekq wrote:How much is a DE Skidata set worth? I have acquired a Cherry G80-5000 by sheer luck and found out it's apparently at least 200$ worth, if not a lot more. What concerns me is that the price paid for it varies wildly, some sell for 50$, others for over 2,000$. I'm waiting for a PS/2->USB converter to arrive to test both its AT and PS/2 port.
As for criteria that might help with estimating its price:
- QWERTZ layout
- 17 F-keys (all F-keys on the left side)
- no Windows keys
- no num pad
- split mechanism, "legs", extending space bar work
- looks fairly new, has been seldomly used
- doesn't come in a box or with a manual
- FCCID: GDDG80-5000
- Article No.: G80-5000HAADE /07
- Serial No.: G 002116 H22
I'll take a photo soon once I've cleaned it properly.

The ones selling for $2000+ are US layout. Much less common/more wanted than your DE layout one. I would rate a new-in-box DE one at around €300, although some would pay more/less. We would need pictures to give a more accurate price. It would also help if you could tell us the condition of the keycaps. Are they shiny? Or do they still have most/all of their matte texture?standard wrote:I have acquired a Cherry G80-5000 by sheer luck and found out it's apparently at least 200$ worth, if not a lot more. I suppose you do not mean that keys F1 to F17 all are on the left side, standard wrote:[…] - 17 F-keys (all F-keys on the left side) […]
but that there are only F-keys on the left side?
Yes, the left row only contains F-keys, some other models seem to have Windows keys there.

I've been thinking about this one, but it's hard to put a price on it...BlueBär wrote:How much is mintberrys Model F XT worth? Comes with Teensy and box, see here: http://deskthority.net/marketplace-f11/ ... 6-120.html
A pretty OK model F XT can go for $50 last time I imported one from the US, maybe more if it's almost NIB. The Teensy is also $15-20... Something like $80?

I've seen a couple of XTs in good condition go for well over £50 in Britain, with no box or Teensy. There's a lot of variation.

I have a Cherry G81-3000HAU made in mid '93. Shiny black-on-white winkeyless US ANSI doubleshots. Old stabilizers, hence stabilized keycaps are compatible with Cherry MX. White plate-mounted Cherry MY switches modded to 25 cN (i.e. removed springs). A chipped piece of the top half of the case.
I guess I could get something for the keycap set, although not much because of the shine, but is the rest of this keyboard worth anything?
