yeah but then you get case settling and buckling. best to keep them in sterilized foam. or suspended in mineral oil.

My desktop becomes my workshop when needed. And today it was needed. I got my shipment of MX Clears from 7bit. Tried them. Did not like them. And in Finland we have this saying; "When in doubt, ergo it".

I [ab]use my desk which I had for over 10 years now. It is full of scratches, holes, dents and burn marks anyway.
Oh, yes, I know it looks dangerous to solder so close to the HHKB. You are right. But I just can't help it.

Yep. It's using a little 5v 3w amplifier (TI LM4871) and it turned out to be perfect for the job

Thanks for posting, I find it really interesting to see how other storages look. I had the idea to build a keyboard storage/display out of wood and makrolon plates, maybe when I have more freetime .
I hope this thread will become regularly post like the desktop thread.
