Definitely sphericals. (As are most caps of a certain age.) And definitely already gone.

Thanks. There are several more Televideos on US eBay. It's unfortunate that they don't have better switches.

Just curious -- what does it take to interface Televideo keyboards, say a Model 925, to a modern computer via USB?

Your guess is as good as mine. A replacement controller? The PCB looks well laid out, if you got the original chips out of the way…

The puzzle with getting my Honeywell into this century is made more complex by its Hall Effect switches. Simple "ohmic" switches, as Xwhatsit calls them, with conductive metal contacts, can all hook up quite simply to Soarer's or Hasu's controller. But other sensing systems require different circuitry, none of which I understand effectively.

I thought we were discussing the Televideo boards most recently rather than the Perkin-Elmers. In any event, regarding the Televideos, there is a post on GH showing how to convert 800 series boards for use with a contemporary computer by hardwiring the switches:
http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=49503.0
These boards are described as very solid with heavy switches (Futaba complicated linear). There are several similar Televideo boards (e.g., 925 and 950) currently available on US eBay at accessible prices. I am tempted, but I have more than enough on my plate at present, including a queue of IBM Model F boards waiting to be restored to youthful vigor.

Looks a bit like the Fujitsu Libertouch switch. Has the same style caps and notches on the outside of the slider. Top of the slider is a bit different though and can't see a buckling sleeve there...

Yes. Looks like the 3rd generation variety. Now I wonder about the protocol of this keyboard and if it is feasible to interface it with a contemporary computer.

The bottom one doesn't look bad. I can't tell whether it's a Model F or a Model M, but it's definitely buckling spring. AFAIK you can't tell from the picture, you would have to look at the back side of the keyboard. I could be wrong about that though, maybe someone else can recognize it.

Telling from the photo at least one keycap is missing. If nothing else is defective, you can get it to work on a PC with Soarer's converter.

Ooh nice. I've wanted a winkeyless Peacock case for a long time now.

Shame I've got no cash  Nice find though, I hope it goes to a good home.

Catalogue might contain pictures of early Adler keyboards. I suspect the famous triumph adler keyboard would have been in a newer catalogue...I don't have the cash to drop on this right now.

The sticker means that it is a Model M, not a Model F.

I don't really know what you should pay for these. Here in Germany, terminal Model M keyboards sell for around 20 to 35 € on ebay (uncleaned), because there is extra effort needed to convert them for a PC. I don't know how rare or sought after they are in Italy.
