Linus has done a video on this keyboard but has been an absolute **** about region locking it. You wouldn't have anything to do with this would you?

I suggest to use a proxy to remove region locking from youtube and other websites. There are also some very good browser extensions for that matter. That said, I can see that video without any problem.

Right, that's it, MOAR PICS!
These thick PBT blanks by Ducky have taken over my NovaTouch lately. For as much as I love my Round 4's, PBT is still the ultimate cap material. And nothing goes quite as well with black as white. Here's the Micro USB port, round back. Note how small the case is. Good and sleek. Yeah, I like a funky looking concave arrow cluster. No problem with blanks. The soft lighting is thanks to a rainy day. Still lookin' pretty good in any case. Authentic PBT space bar. A step up from the Realforce and HHKB! So long as you supply it yourself… Yes, it's ISO. And yes, those are vertical stabs for ISO Return. The stabs are super easy for swapping caps, much like Cherry's. You know, I think I like this board…

Looks really nice! I've already bought a full pbt cap set for it, so I'm hoping CM will pull the cork very soon and let the NovaTouch flood the world (or at least me, the world can wait)!

@Muirium: Looks great with the white blanks. Are the Topre switches the Type S variety?

Nope. They are regular Topre, without damping. But a quick search through this thread shows just how confusing it is!

Man as much as I like your blue spherical caps, this is the way to go! There is nothing more esthetic than blank caps and better material than PBT!
I must say that I envy your PBT spacebar a little bit I've used my HHKB Pro1 almost a year now, and the spacebar developed a bit of shine but nothing compared to the Spacebar on my Pro1 which developed a noticable dent. I wish they would finally start making PBT caps for HHKBs and Realforce!
By the way, have you tried out the dampering I've sent you?

As long as you don't start flipping your space bar, otherwise we'll have to disown youMuirium wrote: ↑ Yeah, I like a funky looking concave arrow cluster. No problem with blanks.

Yeah, that's just wrong. I couldn't do it to this steep space-barred NMB either, even if I figured out how…
@Cookie: I've been delaying the Great Dampening too long. (Summer allergies by day and, well, booze by night…) I'll get around to it soon, though. S-type Topre is something I'm still to touch.

Let me get this straight: True keyboard nerds will happily invest enormous amounts of time and money into buying or building ergonomic keyboards like the G80 5000 or the Ergodox, yet reprimand anyone who dares to flip their spacebar for ergonomic reasons...?

Relax guy it was just a joke. If the spacebar is so vicious on your thumb that you have to spin it around to get relief then who am I to judge. My personal opinion is that it looks stupid, but I like ugly keyboards too and I certainly won't lose sleep over anyone pointing out said ugliness.

I just leave the spacebar as it is and flip the rest of the keyboard.002 wrote: ↑Relax guy it was just a joke. I have to wonder if at this stage it's just a supply issue. Cooler Master would surely be wanting a crapload of these things to meet demand. There was an image of a stack of Novatouch TKL boxes on the Facebook page so I think they must be pretty close to the release candidate by now

I agree, the boxes look subtle, yet premium
Subtlety perhaps being something that Cooler Master had a rude lesson on after their first entry in the mechanical keyboard scene. I have to say they are winning me over lately, for obvious reasons.
