Ah, arrows on wasd. That's cool, but not as cool as esdf ;)

How come it has a red on esc? It makes more sense to be opposite.

I agree. The switch configuration seems weirdddddd.

But it does look cool when you remove the keycaps!

What does the esc led symbolise?

The switch configuration is only like this on the first 100 they made, the retail model will be uniform keys. Its basically only there "for the lulz", so the collectors who got some of the very first batch have something rare.

For example the MX Blue variant has a production-error mx switch in a very dark teal blue for the ESC. The MX black and brown variants have a red switch for ESC.

I'll explain the ESC led in the full review. Speaking of LEDs...

Review up:

Not as complete as I may have hoped for, but I had no way to test for rollover abilities and such yet. Will fix/add stuff tomorrow.

Nothing yet. It is a whole 15km, after all. The first 10000km took 17 hours, currently for the last 15km DHL is getting below 150m/hour. This makes an old crippled woman with a cane faster.

That would involve throwing it. I found it with the caps lock floating in the box, and the pcb hanging loose in the case with just one screw, the other is seemingly floating somewhere around in the keyboard, I can hear it but not see it. Some heavy throwing was involved. The outer box looks like gnomes gnawed at it.

There should be two other screws.. has three screws originally.

Same with UPS, I knew a guy who worked for one of their facilities during my HS days and he admitted to playing soccer with a few boxes.

At least it arrived. Looking forward to that review. :D

So mine has only two screws. The pcb was attached to the upper left one (the other one on the left has a small plastic insert so you cannot put a screw there). I found the other screw and the metal part it screws into it in the case as shown here:

I presume it goes it the emply round cylinder at the bottom. That would make 5 screw holes. Problem is, the metal cylinder doesn't slide into it. It doesn't fit.

Looks like a part broke off? Or not?

Sixty, can you check if that's were it goes and if the metal cylinder should slide all the way to the bottom of the board, or whether a small plastic part broke off?

Note that the keyboard was packed in a plastic sleeve and I found no other parts.

I found the third screw, stuck somewhere at the bottom of the box, hidden from view. Used the three screws in other locations, left out the loose metal bit, and it feels stable. Still wonder where it goes. Review tomorrow or the day after.

Yeah thats how it is on mine.. metal cylinder actually fits into mine fine.

PS: I'm surprised you picked MX black!

Ok I need to force more. It's probably a tight fit. I didn't pick anything. Hey this thing has dedicated arrow keys. Well, sort of.

So the bottom screw hole is only used as stabilizer/rest point? That would explain why it feels stable without it, because it is resting on the plastic now.

Ironically mine is very lose. It just fell out when I turned it over.

The low cost of China-made goods comes a great challenge in quality management.

Dunno if the construction is to blame or DHL. Mine arrived perfectly fine, while webwits was held up with issues, then arrived damaged in a raped box.

I've been busy.. sometime this week. I like it though, much will depend on the price. I asked KBC about price and availability, no answer yet.
