First one is most likely old stock from Cumb.de, address in Berlin and bad German in the description, company logo scratched out. The same seller was also on Amazon a few weeks ago where I got a black G80-1800 for a good price. The starting price (2€ each) is what they were selling them for on Cumb.de when I got my first keyboard from them in 2011.

These Datalux boards can have either MEI switches or Cherry ML. The MEI ones are really crap.

Yeah, it looks just like Kurk's own one: with MEH, sorry, MEI switches.

Are they as bad as Cherry MY though? I kind of like the wide aspect caps…

Ooo MX compatible caps may be worth it for them alone, i know the letters are a bit wide but there are some nice offsize caps there that may be useful, that right shift looks about the right size of a minila spacebar
Not sure on the switch.

Anyone interested in a group buy for those five IBM F? The seller offered me them for 150, 30 a piece is a good deal.

Do you know if the 122 is an F? If so, I'd definitely take it for 30eurseebart wrote: ↑Anyone interested in a group buy for those five IBM F? The seller offered me them for 150, 30 a piece is a good deal.
The problem is the 2 bigfoots which, afaik, can't be converted. Also, any idea what type of board the one next to the XT is? It's larger than the XT and has a different connector. I wonder if it can be converted..

Yeah but that's slightly unfair for the person buying that. But a bigfoot can be used with a new controller right?

You're talking about these, right?
http://deskthority.net/other-external-f ... ml#p179280
Halvar says the bottom of the 122 shows it to be a Model M, so that's the best one knocked down. The others should all be Fs, though. Bigfoots can run via USB thanks to a cunning hack that Soarer's recently came up with by the way. The ones with the blue switches are quite neat, and I remember seeing some on Xwhatsit's capsense controller thread. Think they need his $50 magic.

Yup I knew there was some progress with the bigfoot. It's still not a bad deal people! But we would have to "adjust" the prices since these five do have equal value!
And yes I am taking about those [emoji16]

I've got one, cleaned and bolt modded, if you're interested. I didn't get around to ordering shorter bolts so the case fits on comfortably, but it's almost there!

Me? Thanks, but I'm just after the German keycaps for my AT, if I get it working. So I don't need a bolt modded Model M.

Jeez someone won a das with blank keys, changed their mind and got really creative...
That IBM auction is over in 27 minutes BUT I somehow have a feeling no one will be buying those for € 220...after which I will send him a friendly ebay message with another offer...

...is just talked to the seller, he is willing to go for € 125,00 for all five.
So again; anyone here seriousy interested in group buying one or more of those IBM keyboards?
I allready have an F XT. I would be inerested in one of the IBM 3178 Keyboards or the 5291.
This is what he´s offering:
1x IBM Model F XT
2x IBM Model F 3104
1x IBM Model F 5291
1x IBM Model M 6110344
€ 25,00 Euros a keyboard my friends! Condition of these babies is unkown! I´m supposed to get back to the seller soon.
Actually I think it´s the IBM 3104 Keyboard, not the IBM 3178 Keyboard he´s got two of.
Drop me a PM if your interested.

Hold on.. Is the 'Model M' definitely a 6110344? That's not an M, man! And if it's 25eur I'll take it!

Halvar's seen its backside!
Halvar wrote: ↑I asked the seller, and he sent me a picture of the bottom sticker of the 122 keyboard. I would draw the ire of the gods of copyright on me if I posted it, but it shows that it's a model 1389278, made on 1989-08-11. The typical Model M sticker on a beige plastic surface.

Where does the information that it's a 6110344 come from?
This is what I got from the seller:

Hallo ninde59,
