I have a noobie question that, is the clear case switch with an led hole?
Because I would like to replace my KBT Race switch. Then the backlit could glow better under keycaps.

Not a noob question because there's been a good deal of hype, but not a lot of technical info available for the clear cases. They appear to be designed specifically for SMD LEDs, and do not have the holes for through hole components. You can see more clearly at www.cherry-professional-gaming.com.

With that said... My plan is to modify the case and use through hole LEDs. How exactly, I'm not sure--I'll have to get my hands on them first.

Oh, these are the latest clear case we're getting?
Exciting we can buy the latest Germany design in a affordable price,
but sad because for sure it couldn't fit any traditional led with it.
And ... I'm only a newbie in soldering, it's impossible for me to do that kinda advance mod

The LEDs get under the switch. There is no hole.
