I've got the Strg keys on there because they're A-profile, unlike the Controls from the 1800 WoB set. I much prefer A-profile

I recently bought a Poker X for work as I needed one. Thankfully Daemonraccoon gave me a dreamy price.
It came with reds, and i'm going to play with a ton of korean springs i've acquired over the last few months, in search of my perfect spring. weights vary from 55g - 68g
I decided that I wouldn't want stock caps for it, and Daemon had this round 3 set on hand. Again, another incredible dreamy price.
While I'm not in love with how SP keycaps feel, I've always loved this look of this set, nice to be complete and all with a moogle for my Poker

What’s the source of these “halfway-decent keycaps”?Hak Foo wrote: ↑Slap on some halfway-decent keycaps and you'd hardly believe it's aSpoiler:Sadly, the front inscriptions are printed, not triple-shots, and the SysRq is NOWHERE near that colour under real light.Spoiler:
For what it’s worth, the thick PBT keycaps on the very earliest AT101s are really nice.

They look like [wiki]Tai-Hao standard double-shot series[/wiki] to me, which are quite common across many brands including Focus. That's what I put on my AT102W, but there are lots of gotchas, including the AT102W caps lock stem being slightly offset (thanks, Silitek), so I've still got a number of original keycaps present (ISO return, the whole bottom row, caps lock, backspace, and I need a white backslash instead of grey).jacobolus wrote: ↑What’s the source of these “halfway-decent keycaps”?

I’ve seen 3 different stepped-caps-lock stem positions on old Alps boards (in addition to center-stemmed non-stepped ones), so it’s not just Silitek.Daniel Beardsmore wrote: ↑there are lots of gotchas, including the AT102W caps lock stem being slightly offset (thanks, Silitek)

A long overdue picture of my favourite board; the bpiphany symmetric stagger board
Although it has ruined normal (without backspace on right thumb) keyboards for me

Would you want gold on gold? I would have thought you'd want black-dyed anodised aluminium, with the legends left as un-dyed (silver colour), if that is possible somehow.Muirium wrote: ↑Tuhaojin looks mighty photogenic! I'd go for nicer caps, but I don't know any metal ones that come in gold…

you mean my SSK? Well I didn´t do anything to it.It´s got a IBM production sticker from 1990 on it.But in 1990 there were no blue labels. So I´m guessing it´s a FRANKEN SSK.It´s also very clean on the inside for a 24 year old keyboard!

A quick web search brings up nothing about the price. Typical Cherry! But here's the original thread where they asked for our interest:
