If you want to run an envelope endurance test-run, I could be convinced to allow myself to be the test subject.

Springs will get sent tomorrow! Sorry for the delay.
What I learnt from proxying them:
-finnish towns have fantastic names
-there's a surprising low of mechanical keyboard enthusiasts in southern Europe
-triple checking is better than double checking (TheSoulhunter, who had the biggest order, almost would have gotten only a sampler kit)
All packages get tracking, however sorting the tracking numbers might take longer than the springs to arrive
Shipping should take 2-5 days. If you want your tracking number, send me a PM.

Awesome! I hope I get them before the weekend so I can finally start to build my FaceU with 62g Clears. The springs are the last parts that are missing.

Does anyone want to swap a bag of 55 or 50g for my 62g springs? I have two of those and would rather have another light option...

Mine came today! Thanks! And thanks for the gummibärchen!
@schreebles, if you are going to sell your springs I am interested. Unfortunate I don't have 50g or 55g to sell.

Got my order yesterday, thanks to BlueBär and sprit1! I got golden ones, i think i was too late and only the golden version of 100g and 120g were available. I put 120g and 100g springs in test switches, and really like the 120g so far!

I filed an order for some gold springs since those were the only ones available. However, I have, a potentially very stupid, question: the gold is there only for bling (that will never be seen) right? If it's gold plated the gold is only a couple of microns thick and will not change any of the mechanical characteristics of the spring right? Or am I missing something?

The Gold-plating does not guarantee any proven better keytouch. But as more Steps and Electro-chemical processes involved in the gold-plating, Chances are there for some Physical changes - might be noticeable, or not. I'd like to pursuit deeper on this matter.Khers wrote: ↑I filed an order for some gold springs since those were the only ones available. I believe that's only for the bling...
I believe that it can be really hard to feel the difference with your fingertips if your not very, very, very sensitive... Or have some placebo feeling.
What can matter is if your using it in a non regulated environment. so that the spring will not oxide. But then the PCB would be the part that's most sensitive.
Thats my bet, but if someone have another opinion, please share!

I also think it is 98% for the bling, and the rest like beltet said! But the golden springs look gorgeous, and everyone will think you are really a freak when you are working with golden springs.
