stop worrying...a 1391407 is a buckling spring board 100%. 1391401 is the ANSI, 1391403 is german iso, 1391407 is danish iso. I happen to have a 1391407 myself in my shelf behind me, just grab the sucker already before someone else does.

Yeah, I was trying to pimp my own auction in a subtle way.

EDIT: I had to cancel the auction and start it again anyway, I messed up on the postage options on the listing and someone had already bid on it.

Here is the new link:

Can somebody tell me what this is (worth)? Also, does the keys fit a Model M?

Nah, those keys won't fit a model m. I'm going to guess that this is just a rubber done so it isn't worth that much at all. I would say that the best you can hope for are some ALPs, however the only way to tell is to get the seller to pull a key.

So...how much would a somewhat yellowed AEKII go for, with pad-printed non-original (but matching in color and font) caps for numpad 0, Del, and Enter and without stabilizers for 0 and Enter? In the US...

I've got nothing to sell, but I was wondering how much do you think a set of black doubleshot German Cherry MX keycaps would be?

if you get lucky, 1 € plus shipping. If youre actually buying for "real", the price will end up around 20-40€.

Keep an eye out for special edition g81-3000 boards on ebay, like the HSV or BvB Dortmund keyboards, they have black german doubleshots.

I've got a line on some brand new in box M5-2s. These are the buckling spring keyboards with the built on trackball in the upper right hand corner. Any idea on market value if these were new in box?

Also, White M13s that are brand new in box, idea on market value?

Difficult so say. These are rare and NIB, but not as sought-after as for instance an M15, black M13 or Space Saving Keyboard. I've seen these go for $100 but also for $250.

I've got a Filco M2 Ninja TKL in Browns. How much before shipping? With every accessory but the keypuller.

I see the keypullers go for around $10 shipped or so. The TKL M2 Ninja is $150 new? If I was looking for one used but in like new condition, I'd probably want to get it for $130shipped or less. Some people might be more pissed than other about the keypuller if it originally came with the board.

Once again Filco beats the competition.

Seriously though, I am aware that it's a buckling-spring ALPS keyboard (arrived at work with RM Nimbus branding and I liked it so I bought it for ten pounds, didn't know anything about it at the time) and that it's not exactly what you'd call common. I don't intend to sell this one any time soon (in contrast to most of the other boards I've got at work) but I am curious as to what it's worth. The F12 key is actually missing (I didn't just remove it for the photo) but I can get a replacement.

I will probably be asking about some slightly less spectacular boards later, but this one will do as an introduction.

Hard to say, there isn't an established market for those keyboards. But it's very, very rare. The board itself, and the switches. Of the Japanese keyboards with these switches, the 5576-001 terminal boards went cheaply on Yahoo Auctions Japan when I was operating there. Think $10 to $20. The 5576-002s were quite expensive. $100 to $150 for used if I remember correctly, much more for new. But to get those to Europe or the US, you have to add like $100 for shopping service, payment provider, shipping to shopping service, shipping to you, customs fees and taxes.

So I'd say at least 100 EUR, maybe 150 EUR, and maybe you'd get more with an auction, who knows. If you get two people battling over an ISO version, it could go higher... if there's just one guy who desperately wants it you will be less lucky.

I ended up finding a few used M5-2s in working condition. They need some cleaning but seem to be in good condition with the trackballs functioning perfectly. I'm not really sure where to price them at though. In the last 4 months, I have never even seen an M5-2 sold on eBay. I found one that sold for like $40 or so on Geekhack but the trackball was broken.

Any help would be appreciated.

Didn't knew where to ask so I'll try here...
I have the opportunity to buy a Ducky DK1087-F tenkeyless board with MX Blue switches for 90€(incl. shipping).
Here are some pic's of the keyboard that the seller posted:

According to the seller the board wasn't used because he bought two and he's selling the second one.
Do you guys think 90€ is a good price?
Also, how do Ducky's stack up quality wise to Leopold's or Filco's?

Well the housing does look a bit cheap so that's why I'm asking, If I'd want a Filco or Leopold here in Poland I'd have to pay at least 40% more to what the guy is asking for the Ducky :/

In poland they charge 22% VAT to any article imported outside the EU, so that Leopold would unfortunately cost me around 145€(incl. shipping), the MJ2 Filco's on the other hand are not 90 GBP but 108 GBP incl. VAT + additional shipping costs which would bring it down to aprox. 140€!
Allready tried a WTB on Geekhack and here but unfortunately had no luck.

I have managed to obtain a functioning Model M2, located in Australia. Would this be worth anything?

That's true. Here are the pictures.

Cosmetic condition is good except for what appears to be pen marks at a few locations on the board, and some browning in the crevasses of the textured plastic. Hopefully both will go away with some scrubbing.

Part number is 1395300

Edit:

I'm actually enjoying typing on this more than I thought. It feels as if the lighter construction and thinner keycaps is absorbing less of the noise and vibration, to the effect that it's very clicky and more tactile than the M.

If Unicomp made a new version I'd be all over it. Especially if it was tenkeyless.

I just got a silver label ANSI Model M. All keys still click. It is kind of dirty and I haven't opened it up yet, but from the look of it it should look like new after a good clean up from me. How much is it worth? Thanks.

Oh, about M2. I also have a NIB IBM M2. I paid $40 + shipping for it. I also have a rubberdome M2, used but in very good condition, still works, for $10 + shipping.

Acer switches. Nice. Too bad about the bad keys, and together with an ISO layout, I'm not sure if you'll get a lot for it. Rare switch though. If you'd sell it, I'd set a price between 40 and 50 EUR and see if someone bites, then try 30 if that doesn't work.

I'll leave the Cherry to the Cherry experts.
