Also, it's not "clicky" as that seller says. It is indeed green vintage "T" ALPS. (very nice linear switch)

So far, we have:

SKCL/SKCM — "regular" Alps
SKFL — corned beef tin Alps
SKE? — semi-integrated dome
SKFR/SKFS — those other ones

Maybe I should offer a prize to the first person who's able to get the series name of the "vintage tee" ones. The series name for SKFL came off a label affixed inside the keyboard itself: "normal" keyboards have part numbers beginning KCL/KCM/KFCL/KFCM, and then Nubbinator found one with a code beginning KFFL: http://deskthority.net/keyboards-f2/alp ... t7619.html — thence the confirmation that they're SKFL (from a sadly now defunct website, Technology Transplant, that was selling spares of them, who are now uncontactable by anyone).

Integrated dome also appears to be SKE? but we don't even have the third letter yet for a tee mount keyboard:

Thanks a lot Parak ! I was lucky this time.
The seller told me that it was connected to a terminal in an old office from Telefónica. Closed 25 years ago. Uniforms still hanging in their pegs ... she will send me pictures next time that she gets there.

I wish we will always know how was the previous live of our keyboards ...

I said It was a model F... Item spanish description was clear (and seller confirm me in ebay :) )

How odd. I contacted the seller of the $99 one and he insists that it's a "clicky" keyboard and the case is metal. How can that be when the part numbers are identical to the one HaaTa has - which has green T ALPS and a plastic case?

I hate when sellers insist on statements that are obviously false.

The cases are heavy thick plastic, so maybe he thinks it is metal.
:shock:

He hits a key and it makes clack-click (the noise of bottoming out and the switch comming up again) => clicky!

I've got the other Japanese one and there's no way to mistake the plastic for metal.

Mistaking the bottoming out for clicky is certainly common with sellers. With most modern keyboards being silent rubber domes, any noise is usually mistaken as "clicky".

No not just for the caps. I sold my other AEK 2 and this one looks much nicer plus those caps a rareish! If it`s a nice as it looks on those pics € 25,00 is ok. AEK 2 is a solid daily driver. Great Keyboard.

Yup. €25 isn't bad, especially given the interesting caps. Glad to hear you'll be using it. I too am a fan of damped Alps and Apple's caps and layout. Just not the numpad part…

I own that KB gogusrl. NEC had their own switch. Quite clicky. I have not used that KB in a while now that I think about it. Nice find! I bought mine here at DT from mintberry I believe.
