This is quite amazing; this was delivered just now (21:04) by Hermes no less THE night before Christmas! It's the NIB AEK 2 with nice caps. The delivery guy was working overtime.

Christmas is the 25, many countries celebrate on Christmas Eve (the 24th). Since in some countries the 24th is holiday and gifts are exchanged on that date, sometimes Christmas eve is considered the 23... but as far as I know Jesus was born the 25 more or less everywhere.

Well, let's say we celebrate his birthday tomorrow, but we don't know really when he had been born, unless someone finds his birth certificate.
Merry Christmas , kbdfr!
Just unpack some of your boxes and pretend they are from the Secret Santa!

More or less everywhere? Sounds like a messy birth.matt3o wrote: ↑as far as I know Jesus was born the 25 more or less everywhere.
Anyway... According to gospel, Jesus was born during the night so I don't count Christmas Eve as being Christmas until it is eve. But around here it is pretty dark at 3 pm already.

The Christians just wanted to hijack Yule for their own purposes. (Easter took over the more significant Pagan European festival of Beltane.) Before they came along, everyone enjoyed a good night of fiery, boozy sin in the middle of winter. Afterwards, well, for the rest of you it was all candles, hymns and Santa. In Scotland, for whatever reason, Christmas didn't really take off until modern times. But we kept the mischief alive in Hogmanay instead.
Merry Whatever to One and All!

From the link:
They are pretty fugly. Don't match at all well with the forum's own. And strange to have a feature that's specific to a mobile client, and inaccessible to desktop users. My board has an excellent collection of smileys and the emoji smileys are so horrible that they make me want to puke.

OK I would not argue with that. I do not find them particularly appealing or anything. It's practical when using tapatalk, that's all.
Yes but that's typical for those mobile apps and the restriction is a valid reason to remove them, not the visual appeal!
