Nice, but be careful, the picture shown is just a marketing picture, the keyboards do not necessarily have doubleshot keycaps like the one shown.

I need some German black doubleshots, maybe I'll try my luck again.

Pretty sure that Silicon Graphics is a rubber dome.

I think USB hub in the keyboard would be nice if you use a wireless mouse so you can plug the receiver in really close... but otherwise not so much. Maybe OK for the little nano size USB sticks, or wired mouse if you are really short on USB port on the PC. I think most anything else would just be in the way.

Even the Raptor K1 with lasered key is still nice if you like Cherry G80. It is one of the few models that have 6KRO/NKRO. Keycap can always be upgraded. The KRO not so easy.

Link is gone so I can't check, but it probably wasn't a fake. SGI just made some dome boards in their day :P

It really does not matter. I took the link down. I was kidding about the "fakes", but again I do not know. What I do know that 7bit pointed out the wrong logo quite brisk.

I have one, it's pretty nice and super clicky. Aristotle clicky clear switches and Costar (or as near as damnit) stabs.

Their later logo was as fake as Cherry's current logo. They look all wrong.

I will never understand why some firms throw away their own brand!

Nevertheless:
As far as I know, there exist no mechanical SGI-keyboards that come with the wrong logo.

When management is all out of ideas, it's time to rebrand. The best companies never change their logos. They settled on something early in their history (Apple, Google), or when starting a new chapter (IBM, Nokia) and then they stick with it. Twiddling with thumbs is a sign you're on your way out. Worse yet is when they change names. Consignia!!

You got that right. I worked for a company that changed its name and logo 3 times in 4 years. The customers didn't know which company to sue when we went bankrupt.

Nice, but where do you put it and what do you do with it? Is that what people buy after they get their 60% keyboards?

To the right of your mouse would be a good place, I think. I'll put mine there, when it arrives.

I'd quite like to do that too. Seems like a nice companion for 60%s.

Yup, that's what I bought it for. You can even exchange the switches for genuine Cherry MX switches, as far as I know.

Silicon Graphics to SGI had a reason, as it was actually technically a different company then after they filed bankruptcy, restructured and stopped developing MIPS. Not simply a branding refresh cooked up in the marketing department like happens in most cases with new logos.

Interesting. So that logo on that rubberdome that I took down was post restructuring the company?

From what wikipedia says this was the logo from 1990 to 2009:
