Those Toshiba caps are sublime. I think Paranoid used them for his amazing AT102W mod. Really nice.

I just got my Qtronix QX-032, it's the same model as in the wiki, with Aristotle Cherry MX clone switches. The switches feel a bit scratchy, I think I'll change them to proper MX switches. It uses Costar stabs and the keycaps are among the crappiest I've seen jet, but of course you can change them, which I immediately did. It has a DIN 5 connector. Furthermore it was NIB, as described.
Here's a picture of mine: The keycaps are a bit wonky, some switches are a bit askew. Now I have to decide whether to put it to the right of my mouse or to the left of my keyboard.
Thanks again for the tip, guk!

Really nice find. I'd love to get one of those. As for the switches, can you just put the top half of an MX switch on the soldered switch or will you need to de-solder and replace them?

You can't open the switch without desoldering, unfortunately. Also I don't know whether a MX switch top fits on the Aristotle clone. If you want, I could proxy one to you.

Ooh, interesting. Is there somewhere where they're readily available? I think I've already spent too much on keyboards this month, but maybe I could get one sometime soon.

Thanks! I think I'll hold off for a while, though. They seem like a fun project but I don't have any real need to get one yet.

@guk,
Did I understand correctly ? Are you selling the IBM Twinax InfoWindow ?
I spoke with the seller on the telephone. He told me the model number of this keyboard. But then I realised that the picture is identical to another Twinax that sells in Canada

Not selling, I bought it. Don't know why he recycled the picture, maybe too lazy to take one himself.

Guys,
You should now that guk is a gentleman. He pointed me to another IBM-122k that just finished in ebay.
My bid was not high enough but it does not matter. The fact is that he refrained to bid to give me a better chance.
Respect guk !

Heh. If I had the money, I would likely have pinched it when I saw this earlier. Feels better when you lose out window shopping than when you were armed to fire!

That's sooo true! I get really ticked off sometimes when I've been watching that auction a week and then lose out by a margin.Muirium wrote:Heh. It's a Televideo 970 terminal keyboard. I think it has some type of linear switch. Nice caps, though.
