Its coming from belgium so think this is flemish layout, but still 5 colors caps that's uncommon !!
Lasered, maybe but seems to be pretty good legended to me, like multi-shot..
5 is too much and there is no kind of hint on the back of caps.
One cap isn't Double shot even for black legend.. Strange or what ?

I remember seeing those multicoloured caps somewhere before...something sixty had maybe? There was some strange explanation like it was a keyboard used for EU summits so needed loads of layouts or something...I'm probably misremembering, I've had one of those days today.
Great find none the less, I wonder how much photekq will end up paying for it .
edit - lol, ninja'd!
another edit - found the thread, looks like its BSP

awesome, those 5 colors caps. A flemish multi EU layout?
You´re right HzFaq, EU multicolour dyesubs. Being a citizen of the EU I should get some.

Wow these are looking awesome!
Would be nice on my G80 if there are PBT, i don't really like ABS.

By any chance (and the answer will be "no") — do these have a Tulip product code on them? Something like 030244/03.02.44? In theory, if such a code existed, it should end "32".

Hi,
I'm afraid it will "no" just as you said here is the back sticker the inside is also regular 81-3000 pcb For the next ones it will be luck as I don't know if and how many could show up, anyway every 2 months I'll have other selection choice .

The legends do look very nice, there are just too much of thrm for a single key. I'd be interested in one, if you find more of those. Where did you get it from?

I'm surprised it's Cherry branded — I was expecting an anonymous Cherry label.

I ended up to it by searching plans like Cindy does I think, however legislation here is very different, as example in France I couldn't end with this kind of plan anyway I tried (and trust me I did!).

Yeah, these must be pad-printed, right? Since HAF -> doubleshot ABS and I don't think it's possible to dyesub ABS.

I agree with you about ABS and doubleshot, but as you can see in caps detail, one isn't doubleshot !scottc wrote: ↑Yeah, these must be pad-printed, right? Since HAF -> doubleshot ABS and I don't think it's possible to dyesub ABS.
This is the only one on the whole keyboard but still it is one very special made cap, don't you think ?

Actually, that's quite similar to my Polish-layout G80-2500HAU. Most caps are doubleshot, but the underside of the non-doubleshot keycaps look exactly the same as the one in your picture. Mine may have worn slightly from use, but I've got two sets so I will compare them once I have them both in hand.

I think they will be dyesubbed PBT, but I could be wrong.

Also, double-shot PBT is not something new for 1u keycaps, I read somewhere that SP already did this years ago for some particular orders. So, couldn't that double shot key be made of double-shot + dye-sublimation?

Cherry never did doubleshot PBT. All their PBT keycaps are either blank, lasered or dyesubbed.

What if Cherry made the keyboard and BSP the keycaps?photekq wrote: ↑Cherry never did doubleshot PBT. All their PBT keycaps are either blank, lasered or dyesubbed.

BSP never made doubleshots. Also, the underside of BSP is different from the underside of Cherry. Those are Cherry caps for sure. I'm almost certain they are thick PBTs with dyesub, but there's a small chance I could be wrong and they might be ABS with pad print. I think scottc's 2500 is the same - combination of Cherry doubleshots and Cherry dyesubs.
Anyway, I will be getting some of these soon I think. I will find the truth with macro photography.

Looking closely, I am pretty sure it's pad print ABS. If you look hard you can see the clearcoat edge on those multi legends keys. The 2500HAU Polish AS400 layout board also were pad print (and quite bad rough pad print at that) as I had one of those for a little while too.
