Can anyone help me get this trackball to function? It is a PC-TRAC that I believe is the same as a kidTRAC but it has a serial connection. I have been unable to get it to work on windows or linux. It came with a serial to ps/2 connector. But I have not used this to any effect. I also have a one of the 'blue box' ps/2 to usb converter that I have used effectively with a Model M.
I'm not sure where to go from here.

I think the blue box only works for keyboards, so you might one to try one of the ps/2 to usb adapters designed for mice.

Blue cubes only work for PS2 keyboards, not PS2 mice. You'll need a PS2 mouse to USB adapter to use it.
