that Chicony 5192 is a good deal except you don't know what switch you are buying.
Specific switches confirmed found in KB-5191 and KB-5192 keyboards:

Mitsumi miniature mechanical, Cherry MX keycap mount, PCB switch mount[1][2]
Cherry MX mount Futaba clicky switch[3]
Aristotle Cherry MX clone[4]
Cherry MX Blue[5]
What the...
I'm suprised the seller did not adjust the price according to the model number...5000

Here is a numpad with alps clicky switches. Best switches for a numpad, in my opinion. I really like making calculations on it.

brown Alps are somewhat rare IMO. So yes a pretty good find. But you know Redmaus this thread is more about the links you find...

Yeah, share them in the Keyboards -> Photos section if you've got something interesting of yours to show us. :)

Ah. okay. Well I am planning on selling a few boards I got over the weekend here on DT. How do you recommend I do it? Just make a thread in the marketplace? I am not sure of the price on two of my board that I got.

yeah sure, think about your prices beforehand though. Or ask us what it may be worth in the "[Help] Price Check: How much is my _____ worth?" thread.

That's awesome! I would love to get my hands on some of those switches someday. What keyboard did you find them on?

An old videowriter keyboard. These switches are amazing! There is also a locking key for caps lock and a few linear alps switches on the top of the board. If you want the switches cooldiscretion, I am selling them like I said before ;)

Anyone, please ID the "ergonomic" keyboard on the front. Thanks.

No idea, the two directly behind it are pretty nice though; looks like a HAD maybe and a model M.

User avatar

05 Apr 2015, 22:10

Definitely a Model M. Behind that, the other board looks like a Cherry too. The board with the dust cover looks like an Alps board I've seen before. High Screen on the right, Alps too?

Surely a coincidence
It was me, thanks for the tip, ramnes!
I'm hoping for Futaba clicky switches, but every other switch would be neat, too!

You do not see black winkeyless casings every day :o
I'm sort of regretting posting this now.. I think I want to bid on it

Can someone with better eyes than me tell if that's A-profile or not? Perhaps someone who speaks German could contact the seller and ask for a picture that would show it better. If it's A-profile.. I wants :evilgeek:

Looks like A profile to me, the front edge of the Alt appears to be above the spacebar not lower as it would be on B profile.

Yeah, but incomplete :( No numpad keys.

Also yellowed and shiny.

What I'd really love is a set with English legends.

NIB Soviet keyboard. "vintage soviet keyboard AT XT NOS NIB sealed 5 pin"

Could be anything! I see a metal plate and signs of plate mounted switches so it looks promising. I'll find out in a month.

That word on the back beginning with K looks a lot like the Polish word "klawiatura", meaning keyboard. Unfortunately, that isn't exactly illuminating but maybe it would save someone spending time looking for a meaning!

Yup. "ПЭВМ" means "personal computer". The text on the back translates to Keyboard PC "Omega".

The second photo has some paperwork that is hard to read because it is upside down, behind some plastic and in Russian (or Ukranian?). At least two of these things are fixable.
