How much is a set of nixdorf blacks worth nowadays (i.e., after the Gateron GB)?

It's really hard to price check them because the price varies so much. I've seen some sell (not ascaii's) for 100EUR recently. I've also seen 7bit sell his for 500EUR, although I don't know if that was just a joke or whether he actually sold it. That was also pre-Gateron.

On the Chinese forums Nixdorf PCBs are consistently worth $750-ish. But that's on the Chinese forums.. You would not get that kind of price here.

I've been thinking of selling this set of ALPS doubleshot keycaps. I love them, but since I haven't found an alps board which I like, I'd prefer to send this nice set to someone which will actually use it.

Sure! I've been thinking of buying it, but figured that I don't really need an XT layout (well, almost) keyboard. I'd just use the left F-keys on some custom keyboard anywhere in the future, so it wasn't worth it to me the time being.

Keys aren't yellowed, it's just that I didn't make any white balance and those pictures are took under halogen. Cf. http://i.imgur.com/EzIo0yr.jpg for a more correct white balance.

I say about €80-100. A nice and interesting old model.

I just got two other boards like this one, but in QWERTZ this time.

A thing that might interest you is that one is "Nixdorf Computer" branded, while the other one is "Siemens Nixdorf", so I guess it was produced during the transition period. Except the branding and the case color which is a bit different, everything is identical, even the key caps grey color.

I can send you pictures if you're interested, I'm just finishing restoring them both.

Those are dyesub keys acolombo. However, they're not made by Cherry. They're very similar and high quality, but not quite.. The modifiers are not MX compatible as they use some really weird stabilisers.

The set is not worth too much because of this. Perhaps 75-100EUR. There are also Olivettis with Cherry dyesubs. If that were one of them it would be worth much more.

Font positioning/size is different on the ones with non-Cherry dyesubs.
