Hmn... I might consider taking one of those off your hands ramnes. I've been wanting an older DE set without all the extra Alt Gr characters on it lately.

All right. How much PPL think IBM beamspring is worth with orinal US caps? I mean this one
On pic there is hybrid caps from my other beamspring that im going to assembly and sell it later.
It is converted using xwhatits converter and has functional solenoid. This is missing some caps on original set but il trow set of selectric caps with this.

Quite a lot. Just Xwhatsit's PCBs alone cost a fair bit. There's a lot more people hunting for beam springs around here than there are keyboards available, too.

Hi, I posted a few months ago with two boards. I'm looking to sell them on here to some enthusiasts or maybe even a trade.
I honestly have no idea on the price of these boards, so I was hoping to get a price on them.
Ill post the one for now.

I am complete unsure if it works. I am new to this and it has a connector that is beyond my time.
G80-3112HAG
H=Thick Doubleshot ABS Keycaps
A=Cherry MX Black
G= British ISO Layout
H39 Date Code = 39th week of 1995 (Last week of September 1995).
Only information I have on it.
The second board is a cherry board as well without the POS system.
the article number on it reads: G81-1800LPMGB and the date code is 4X26.
Thank you

zomgbbq - I think I said I'd take one of those off your hands, but I've since then found a G80-3192HAG so I won't need one anymore. The G80-3192HAG looks like the keycaps are a little worn, so is probably worth something like 50-70 euro? I'm not sure though, I'm no Cherry expert. Wait for photekq to PM you to buy it, I guess.
Unfortunately, the G81 isn't worth anything really. G81 = Cherry MY switches, then L = lasered keycaps.

Less than 50€ to me, around 40€ I would say. Key caps look very shiny to me. But again, let's wait an estimation from a grand guru.scottc wrote: ↑The G80-3192HAG looks like the keycaps are a little worn, so is probably worth something like 50-70 euro

I'd say less than 50 if it wasn't UK layout. You might be right, though.

I think 50-70 is too much as ramnes said. I would agree 40EUR, perhaps a little less, would be fair.
Here's why I come to that conclusion.. Things that give it value :
That said, if you want to sell it for around that price, I am interested. PM me if you want to sell!
Here's why I come to that conclusion.. Things that give it value :
- Doubleshot UK ISO keys. Here is a very recent auction for a NIB set, although 1800 layout, of keys like this. The keyboard in this auction is G81 and horrible to type on, so you can take the value of the keycaps alone to be around this price : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NIB-Cherry-G8 ... 2c9a969768
- Very uncommon doubleshot keys - CTRL, Page Up, Page Down and Print Screen are not the typical legends. This is one of the only Cherry doubleshot keyboards (except NCR branded 3007 and 3077 for the Page keys, but those have dark grey legends rather than black) I've seen them used on. This does add some value, but only for people that like these legends.
- The keyboard itself is very rare. The 3100 series is 99.9% G81. This is one of the only G80-31XX boards I've seen. That said, there is nothing particularly desirable about the 3100 series. It's just a 3000 with a card reader. So I don't think this increases the value much, but it makes it something for collectors.
- Of course, it is a G80, so it's a nice mechanical keyboard if it works.
That said, if you want to sell it for around that price, I am interested. PM me if you want to sell!

Most of the 31XX boards I have seen also have in switch diode for NKRO, so that makes it better and potentially more valuable too if it does. One can always transplant the PCB without the card reader part into a standard case body for a better all around '3000'.

Oh, if that's true about NKRO, definitely 50EUR. And I want it even more now..

Photekq should be able to suggest a monetary price!

That's the one and only board made by Cherry in the form factor I want. Fussy bugger!
Unless you catch them for Cindy price, though, I can't afford to join you in this raid. Others will for sure.

Yeah i would be definitly interested in one ANSI G80-5000.
Would be the best Cherry keyboard i could have, and would be more or less my Cherry endgame.
Need more IBM though, what i would do for an Unsaver.
