Kiibohd firmware with the Teensy 3.1

Hello,

I have been slowly getting the parts necessary to build a keyboard using the Atomic plate from ortholinearkeyboards.com. However, I wanted to use a Teensy 3.1 instead of the 2.0, so I started looking for firmware that can be used with the 3.1.

I stumbled upon the Kiibohd controller, and it looks like it should do the trick. I have installed everything necessary to compile the firmware with any custom changes. However, I'm not sure I entirely understand how the mapping works.

Does anyone have experience using the Kiibohd firmware for a custom keyboard? I would love to hear how it went and any tips or pointers on how to customize the layout.

Thanks!
