Nice one Madhias! White Realforces are really pretty! The only things that don't quite do it for me are those bubbly windows buttons. Why, oh why do they have to put them on the keyboards?!

My understanding of German keys: Groß = Eeew Gross, and Lösch = Lush (drunk). For some reason our keyboards here didn't get these essential keys.

Put this on a T-shirt, arrow included, and you'll find out real fast who has a basic grasp of German, and who has a grasp of your junk!chzel wrote: ↑A bit of macro fun!

So what do you make of the GRDSTG key on your beam spring board?Muirium wrote: ↑My understanding of German keys: Groß = Eeew Gross, and Lösch = Lush (drunk). For some reason our keyboards here didn't get these essential keys.
The English keyboard is very strange, too.
Alt is old
Page is a hotel boy
Enter is what pirates do when they rob a ship (imperative form).
Back is bake (imperative form).
Pause is a break at school or work or at the theatre.

Maybe this isn't quite fit here, this board is perhaps rather lovingly used (excuse the dust, it's my daily driver at home ), than it is photographed. Anyway, I got a HHKB Alternative Controller from hasu today and went ahead and installed it.
Inspired by DanielT hasu's signature was added to the case:
Original controller for comparison. The original looks rather a bit busier:
Unfortunately, the wires on the battery I bought are too short, so I can't use the BT functionality just yet.
So, does anyone know of a good Li-Po supplier in Europe? The one I used seem to be out of stock of everything with a large enough capacity that would fit...

The BT controller is $90 including shipping and the unusable Li-Po was abt €13 including shipping. With the keyboard it adds up to quite a lot, but then again a BT HHKB is quite something. The real issue is battery life though, which according to hasu isn't splendid, but should get me through a day at least.

The 614th shot of my SSK... but without tripod turned out not that bad, I am always too lazy.

Very atmospherical Madhias! If you give us enough variation go ahead and shoot 614 more pictures if you like.

Moody shots like that need more patience and skill than he's letting on. That kind of look is what I'm going for with many of mine as well. Only, my camera is 10 years old, and can act that way in broad daylight when it takes the mood!
A wider version of that shot would make a nice header. I'd like to see a whole SSK in one. But headers need a lot of space on the sides, as well.

ISO on modern cameras are the reason why to buy them instead of older models! It also depends with ISO, problem is with dark shots - where you need it - it does not always look good. Sometimes I don't see ISO 6400, but sometimes even ISO 1600 or 800 look bad.
I have some wider versions too, let's see what can be used... but that's another thread!Muirium wrote: ↑A wider version of that shot would make a nice header. I'd like to see a whole SSK in one. But headers need a lot of space on the sides, as well.

I think a wider shot could still be better. The site logo works pretty well with Seebart's crop (look at the metal ASD keys) but you know me: I like to see all the options.

Then low light === tripod required. And that's not my definition of lazy. Well, unless I had a spare room to leave the damn thing setup all the time. I hate to trip over gear like that!
