From what I'm reading it appears that they aren't Alps, but that they are Acer Accufeel switches or a different white Alps clone.derzemel wrote: ↑Uuuu... what a beauty and full of white alps and with nice keycaps.guk wrote: ↑ http://www.ebay.de/itm/191599841584 NIB Ortek MCK-142
Some images from kbdfr's post here:Spoiler:I must stay away from it, I still have to find a Cherry G80-2000 series. Luckily, the seller ships only in DESpoiler:

kbdfr states they're white alps, might be that Ortek used different variants of alps switches or clones but I doubt they'd have used a completely different design, pcb <-> membrane (acer).Blaise170 wrote: ↑From what I'm reading it appears that they aren't Alps, but that they are Acer Accufeel switches or a different white Alps clone.
It's kinda frustrating to search on ebay.com because there's so much nice/interesting stuff to be found but shipping will kill curiousity within a heartbeat usually.Blaise170 wrote: ↑Those are a lot of cool keyboards but unfortunately most don't ship to the US.

About the Ortek MCK-142Pro,
By the way, if someone is interested in mine, I am liable to accept a halfway reasonable offer.
I definitely have to get rid of quite a lot of stuff to make room for… new stuff
I said they are white Alps because to me that's the way they looked. They might as well be any clone or similar switchguk wrote: ↑kbdfr states they're white alps, might be that Ortek used different variants of alps switches or clones but I doubt they'd have used a completely different design, pcb <-> membrane (acer).Blaise170 wrote: ↑From what I'm reading it appears that they aren't Alps, but that they are Acer Accufeel switches or a different white Alps clone.

So you're posting them in tiny because they're both gigantic?
I think we had that Navy Frigate Ops Room Keyboard here before?

@Seebart Prices are gigantuous on those, chance they'll find a new home are tiny imho. Don't recall it being posted before but sorry if that's the case.

That Devlin POS keyboard looks a really nice cap donor. Is it a flat profile like DSA?

That M0116 looks to be more like Orange than Salmon, but it's hard to tell from the picture. The Toshiba will be Alps integrated dome from the looks of it.

I was thinking the same thing, stick those piano keys on the bottom for thumb mods...ramnes wrote: ↑Mhhh, those Devlin boards are really tempting!
Not sure about the M0116, the picture is about as crap as the ones I usually take so I can't really tell. They do look a bit darker than the switches on mine now that I think about it and mine does have salmons...

That G80-1500 comes with black not clears. It's an exception to the rule. I got burned with one.

We truly do live in a golden age of keyboard hunting.
Sorry folks, I found a Space Invaders clicky board in ANSI layout today and couldn't help myself. Though I may sell it again here if I don't put it to good use.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/252003159057
Look at that lovely layout. Teal legends, Ctrl in the right place, stepped keys, ANSI. I've never seen one like this before! Plus this seller looks like they knew what they were doing when they took these photos. I just hope it works as awesome as it looks.

I'll do it justice with a nice cleaning, maybe a de-yellowing of the top case, and lots of nice photos. I found this with an eBay saved search. Apparently I bought it two hours after it was listed.
