the plate was cut out from a carbon fiber board as well as a back side plate, those 2 made a sandwich style case then slided into a frame made of 4 separated alu bars, which can be freely color chosen as you see in the pic I actually have a thread on GH with more detailed pic but the site is currently down
I'm thinking, and wanting to in fact, just waiting for some fix up to finish the case then a GB will be soon openedCommonCurt wrote: ↑Such a cool looking board. You eventually going to do a group buy?bazh wrote:Some CF loves

Just got a CM Quick Fire Rapid-i today for testing purposes but let's start with some older pictures of my boards.
FC660M with Ivan's BoB round 3 pbt + Purple GMK mods
Duck0113 Orion TKL + SkiData/Charred Orange caps. Nubs Deckerson on the Escape key
G81-1800 with UK ISO keycaps
I will be using the case and part of the caps of this one when TX1800 comes in and after that I will probably sell some of the leftover caps to people who actually use them. So if anyone is interested in the number row + a few other non-ANSI keys...

@JaccoW, I'm totally up for the ISO keys from the black 1800. I'd love to get my winkey one set up with a proper UK ISO set.

Forgive me my potato pics, maybe I invest in the future in better camera equipment (or in more keycaps)
First my keyboard from "work" (sometimes I work at that place when somebody from the regular crew is ill, currently I´m a student).
Nice mx blacks, sad that I only use some of the keys, because I want every time press every key on this keyboard to see how it feels (but it is every time connected to system, so it isn´t a good idea). This keyboard is really heavy used, because we work nearly 16 hours (in shifts) daily (yes 7 days a week) at this keyboard. And this for over 8 years (I don´t know if the keyboard was ever changed, I only work since 4 years there).
I can say cherry we test you , the daily used switches, or should I say the switches that I tap every minute 10 times, are easyer to press than the other not so often used switches.
Yeah I produce active vintage mx black switches The keycaps are also a bit worn off. I think the keycaps are a costum print for my company because there are so many unique legends, also we own more than 12 of this keyboards.
You can also notice that my company have no idea what relegendable keycaps are
I hope when they buy someday new keyboards I grap them all.
The second keyboard is my Corsair K95 RGB with white pbt keycaps.
I wait for the white Iso Enter keycap, but the paket delivery in germany is at the moment a bit slow.

Did you have to modify the G-Key caps, or is this set K95 compatible?

I must modify them, because the distance between the keycaps is to small for normal keycaps. When you want I can post some pictures from the process, but it was just a bit work with a file.
*added picture, just a little modification and the keycaps works perfect

It's just a traditional beige top-case from an old G80-1800 on the black under-case from a Raptor K1.
I wanted to keep the native USB hub and I like this "new" two-tone case: a little more contrasting than an all black keyboard!
