You can usually tell by the arrow keys but not always most of the time MX has the yellow arrows
things to look for ( but not 100% rule)
Cream case usually but not always = rubber dome
no yellow legends on caps = 99.9% of the time rubber dome
grey case 99% of the time = MX blacks
all the MX boards are doubleshot as far as i know ( some thin some thick) so if it has faded lettering = rubber dome
thats all the advice i have about wyse

It helps that I have about 50 similar keyboards in the garage. No one is buying them so the number remains constant.
The giveaways for me:
- FTnn label on lower right corner on rear of keyboard, where nn is a two or three digit number;
- style of printed label on rear of keyboard;
- key caps, coloring, legends
Prove me wrong, I would love to be wrong!

I had the spy open for a few hours and came back to see something along the lines of..
"Who was the lucky one who got this?" and I seem to remember the ebay url saying something like "5x classiker tastatur".
When I clicked it the post was gone! What did I miss? :S

According to the seller this one has been used for about 1-2 years, but is still in very good condition with the original box.derzemel wrote: ↑ Cherry G80-5000 (expensive):

Chance is a nice guy that likes to restore keyboards. He is registered here and drops by on rare occasions. I have bought from him. He's a fair seller. He has keyboard knowledge.idollar wrote: ↑And who is selling this ?

I'm not saying anyone should buy this Andrew! I have dealt with the guy, he was fair. That's all.
And I'm so not sure that you can handle that Mµ key...
The price on that M is hefty, for us. His keyboards and work are super clean though.
Anyone looking for an M...

I think the price is OK considered that it is cleaned and USB converted. He should give more details on how the USB conversion was done. But it's true, his prices are never exactly moderate.

That NCR board is tempting. I have two here that look just like it without the function keys up top. The ones I have at home are doubleshots, likely GMK, extremely sharp udnersides.
This keyboard would be a great home for Round 5 or Round 5a.
